ConferenceCentreandResearch The project is located in Pognana Lario, a small village facing the Como lake. Surrounded by nature the site is

object of renovation, of an old building unused and decadent, a new construction, to accomodate conferences and didactic lecture, and a remodel of landscape of the park on the hill behind the buildings.

In the old building will take place the temporary residences for researchers and visitors; divided in two floors can accomodate up to 8 people.

In the new building is been provided the kitchen and the living room for the guests on one side, in the other In the new building is been provided the kitchen and the living room for the guests on one side, in the other

side is located the conference/lecture room that can receive up to 31 viewers.

The hill behind the building is been remodelled creating itineraries through the park and doing also a botanic studio in the way to make a park which in every corner host a different variety of vegetation typical of the lake,

this also have a didactical purpose, of course.

MusicofSchool

The building is part of a historical complex in the centre of the city of Magenta, near Milan. Built in XVII cen-tury, it is been expanded from 1721 and during XVIX century, when also the garden is been expanded to the actual size.Objectives of the project were the change of the function to a School of Music, the reorganization of the garden and the technological requalification of the building itself to upgrade to a green-buiding provided with renewable energy systems. This new function is given to the musical associations for rehearse and practice activities for youths and pro-fessionals orchestras.The centre is going to be visited by 80/100 people on a dayly basis. Inside the building there will be a secretary’s office with a meeting room to coordinate all the activities, rooms for individual practice, rooms for rehearse of orchestral departments (up to 15 musicians), one room for rehearse of the entire orchestra, up to 50 musicians by opening the partition between department practice rooms and a recording studio.

The

requalify the building technologically and functionally creating a new point of interest in the area that is already place of events and activities, like marathons and open air lessons, and is also on the routes of cycling paths.To the mill is now given the function of bed and breakfast and restaurant because from the study of the area there are no similar functions nearby.

The Mill Today is a requalification project of the old Mill Galletto dated at the beginning of the VIII century, but has been abandoned therefore it degraded losing any historical value. In 2001 a renovation project has started but left incompleted due to no more financing and that has changed the original stucture and materials of the mill. The project has the final objective of
