Inherent criss-crossings of the urban fabric laid a fan-shaped grid for the building. Through overlapping the complex array of programs, this project attempts to fuse an institutional environment with a public retail one, in order to promote public learning as well as education with constant real-life obervations and public feedback.

ADAPTABLE DESIGN The concept behind this design is the adaptability of the building. Due to the flexibility of the thin surface, this building can adjust its floor level heights and shapes by controlling its rope-like poles according to change in natural lighting or to needs of the store’s current exhibition.
