Family

I don’t have a particularly big family, I have my Father, Mother and Sister. Other than that I got my family mainly in Denmark and Norway, and 2 family members in California.My sister works with art, my mother with teeth, and my father with economics in a international company that deals with artificial bones and joints.

Internationally I have good options from my Norwegian uncle who works in a bank and has a lot of contacts I could possibly benefit from.

Also from the company my father works in there could might be some strings to pull.So with the support of my family I hope to start off with my career fast and aim for my goals right away.

1st & 2nd semester – Learning to learn, getting basic skills

about being an architect and understanding the subject.

3rd semester – production and marketing, this semester was

mainly focused on pre-fabrication and aspects of large scale constructions.

based on creating an apartment area including business plan for rent and usage, making sure it

would profit.

5th semester – Renovation (currently ongoing), we’re

For me those two subject are one and the same, I try to make one in the other, work them together as a team to create a symmetry of architecture.

The structure of a building is the most important part in my view, but implementing design over is makes it somewhat of an art to deliver something that is both strong and beautiful or amazing.

Today some of the strongest structural shapes you can find is in the animal kingdom, more specifically the insect work.And to study some of the structures in there is something that is very possible to use later on to create stronger constructions.

AmbitionsMaterials and Natural

I have a certain preference in materials that i use in my constructions.

I have a love for glass, wood, steel and stone.

They are all strong and nice materials to put in constructions, and placing those four elements in a construction is something that I prefer to use both for the looks and the strength.

But in the structure of a construction I would like to make CO2 free houses and I admire environmentally stable constructions and would like to learn about creating them myself

AmbitionsFuture and Innovation

Thinking in new ways and being creative is two things I love to do while working on a project, and I always consider new possibilities as to how to make something.

I have many opinions about how to create in the future and just hope I get to work with it since I believe I could bring something good into it.

A project I would like to work on would be the structure of an entire city, down to the last road system or sewer line.Working on something that is in a larger scale than just a house is one of the things I consider we should work on more, to have a city as an entity and recycle as much as possible. There are many aspects of this project that needed to be looked at, but I think that it’s worth looking into.

My goal is to get a specialized career where I will work with these elements of ambition that I have.

Therefor in my 4th semester I am hoping to go to either Japan or Canada.

In Japan they have researched a lot about making a small room seem big, how to use every inch of space in a building to the best. This is an art I am hoping very much to learn about later in my career.

In Canada (and perhaps Norway) I would like to learn of the building styles. How to build on solid rock and the systems they have, they also use wood a lot more because of the cold.

So all in all there are lots of things I hope to learn, and I hope to have a specialization in most of them also.

Qualifications

A typical question today is; Why have you chosen the career you’re onto?I had a few different ways I wanted to go, and architecture was my second option. The first option would be someone who invents stuff, which is not a career you can rely on, and there isn’t even an education.So I looked up with different educations in Horsens VIA with architecture, and this one caught my eyes with ‘Architectural technology and construction management’, I was very exited about it, but the one I found was in Danish, and I then spotted I could take it on international studies, which I found even more appealing since I like English a lot.So here I am, studying architecture which I really enjoy doing. I find it interesting and something I can easily continue doing in my life.

A goal of mine is according to my Ambitions, I would like to try and evolve a new type of buildings with new systems that work in more efficient ways, and because my first option would have been inventor , I always look for new options in the view of innovation and new thinking. Creating options never thought of before, combining advantages and remove problems all in the essence of the construction.
