THere is a portfolio of my three past years of studies. The most part of presented things has been produced in the teachings of project. However there is a few personnal works like my photographs or «le baravent» wich has been realised during the third year beside the studies. My main goal here is to introduce to you the diversity between works i did. Each semester is very different than another and the variety of teachings we had, introduced us to different way to see and understand the Architecture. So today I think I gained a lot of particular knowledges, valuable in different fields. Actually it has been a volunteer choice to choose when it was possible, various lessons and various projects. In the following pages you will see, housing and recreation program with differents scales, concrete and utopic works, sometimes things were experimentations, sometimes it was more applied. The last page of the portfolio contains my curriculum.

. La seule limite concrète est la baie vitrée qui ferme l’espace de travail mais qui peut, selon la volonté de l’usager, laisser apparaitre complêtement ce lieu d’activité aux yeux des passants .

Ma réflexion s’est basée sur l’idée de recevoir à la fois professionnellement, mais également amicalement . Ainsi il n’existe pas de limite « concrète » entre vie privée et vie professionnelle . Le rez de chaussée, une agence de création occupée par un couple est un lieu de transition.

L’escalier, à double volée, a la fonction d’un second seuil, ouvert entre le lieu de vie et le lieu de travail . Au delà de son influence sur la spacialité, il régit la composition de la façade, avec son enveloppe translucide qui se poursuit jusqu’au dernier niveau pour filtrer les vues sur la salle de bain de la chambre principale . D’autre part un échange se créé entre les deux ter-rasse et l’escalier rendant le fonctionnement de l’édifice plus interactif . Les deux espaces sont liés et comuniquent àtravers la cage d’escalier, et également grâce au petit quai / terrasse du rez de chaussée duquel on peut voir la terrasse du niveau supérieur, celle de la cuisine, à travers le plancher vitrée qui la compose. On assiste donc à un jeu d’échange, de transmission d’aspect visuels, lumineux, sonores mais aussi olfactifs (cuisine) entre ces deux espaces . La division de l’es-pace en deux avec d’un côtéla terrasse et de l’autre l’escalier, suggère deux possibilités . Il invite à monter et donc, pour un hôte,à pénétrer dans l’espace de vie. Par ailleurs il ne le dévoile pas complètement pour conserver l’intimité de la pièce à vivre dans le cas de réceptions plus professionnelles au rez de chaussée .

Comme pour le rez de chaussée, le premier étage est une pièce à vivre sans cloison et composée d’une terrasse. Ce lieu comporte trois fonctions, cuisine, salle à manger et salon, on évolue entre ces trois espaces rythmés entre eux par l’escalier menant au second, et le canon à lumière, une colonne vitrée provenant du patio au deuxième étage permettant en été d’aerer la cuisine, en hiver de maintenir certaines choses au frais sans utiliser un réfrigirateur, et d’éclairer la pièce d’une autre façon.

L’escalier qui mène au deuxième étage est au centre de la pièce de vie. Sa place vis à vis du premier est stratégique, il doit proposer de monter à l’étage des chambres, sans pour autant y forcer ou au contraire créer un détour trop important. Il débouche directement sur la chambre d’ami afin de garder un espace plus intime reservé au couple avec une vue sur la mer . Cependant un vis à vis entre les deux chambres s’opère à travers le patio, un rideau placé au centre du patio vient si besoin est, s’op-poser à ces regards, mais on peut par exemple imaginer dans l’avenir l’arrivée d’un enfant .

La chambre du couple est un espace ouvert sur la mer grâce à des baies vitrées, mais également sur le patio. Ainsi grâce à des lits carrés on peut dormir dans le sens que l’on souhaite (face au patio, face à la mer ou face au miroir de la pièce).

conceive an imbrication of spaces,

to give them singular living volume,

In this semester, we were eight per group, the teachers asked us to invent a «urban vacation village». We ima-gined an ecological and pedagogical station to learn gardening and how to live with nature. individually, my part was to design the greenhouse, with a tropical part to visit, and a teaching part, to learn gardening. This exercise was an introdcution to

do it yourself and recycling. With

old pieces of furniture, we tryed

to invent a new object. The goal of

this workshop was to try to design

something during we build it. The

project process is not the same and

the invention becomes something else

than a plan or a model. We had design

this lamp that still

illuminates today.

this semester was the FIrst time we had one exercise during the whole semester. Here it was a three student working about collective housing. The scales of working were from the city to the detailed plan of the shutter for exemple. i learnt a lot it was a full exercise and our technical knowledge becomes more substantial. moreover it was the reel occasion to experiment the softwares

spaces» and we trail to do a collective

meaning of that. In three phases, we

developed a project For the Nantes Is-

land, at different scales. First a large

scale analysis then an intervention

on a smaller Field wich suggest new

potential for the city. i try to invent

a new kind of village in

the wastelands.

the last semester of licence was about ordinary architecture. the one we see every day. with photomontage, we tryed to question the french individual hou-sing, and imagine new potentials. in designing part, i conceived a modiFica-tion of this house with the same language of the photomontage. The interest was the densiFication of existant housing, with now three family Flats in one house.

The second part of the exercise was to imagine how the house could interact in a different way with the street and public space. Because the house’s garage has been deleted, i proposed to create street furniture, in front of the house to boost new kind of uses in the frontage of the house. Here you can see a deckchair with a masking screen made in tubes.

THE BARAVENT IS A PERSONNAL PROJECT REALISED with three friends of mine. the trial was to propose a new kind of structure, to eat in the marseille 2013 experimental camping. the object developped is a modulable space with tables and benchs that we can totally close or totally open.
