Puplic devices should be intuitive and easy to use.

Especially copying machines are often highly complex

and hard to understand for non-experts.

Our incentive was to develop a new copying

machine with updated technologies and a simple form language

which guides users with different

proficiencies through the copying process.

In each you have the chance to activate the digital

packaging_02a souvenir for wuppertal

Do you know any souvenirs you would like to buy?

[ 2nd year / short project ]

Page 12: Portfolio Lisa Toepfer

02_

Culinary specialities are popular souvenirs.Discover this cake-mix as a souvenir for Wuppertal!

Typically „bergisch“ - smart and tasty!Comes in three different flovours!

Team-project with Andrea Schöllgen

Most souvenirs are boring, cheesy or don‘t reflect the character of the city.

Page 13: Portfolio Lisa Toepfer

Using the integrated bowl, the cake mix is

easy to prepare and can be served in minutes.

Just remove the outer sleeve, add water, stir

and bake - finished!

As a keepsake, you retain the original recipe

sticker to add to your cookbook.

The bathroom is the area for body care. it is a living,

ritualistic space and a room for healthiness too.

It needs to adapt to different situations and fulfill various functions.

Page 46: Portfolio Lisa Toepfer

To get a feeling about the current mood of the

people refering of their ironing approach I went out

and did some short interviews and try to capture the

spirit of the time

“ I do not iron! “

basic tenor:

Almost everybody dislikes ironing

“ I use a dryer that brings enough stari-ness for me

“ I need to iron a lot, but it isn’t one of my favourit tasks...”

“ I use it for the handle patch”

“I like ironing!” “I ordered my iron online”

“I always watch TED, otherwise it’s to boring”

Visually, ironboards don‘t fit in the living

room context and the complex handling is time intensive and
