I want this time not present a normal application folder but something very personal and private - my sketchbook. Please note that - as usual with a sketchbook - this are not worked out details many times but only flashes of inspiration and ideas. However I think it shows a lot of my way working. Furthermore, it is always normal in my book, that a little disorder is present - it grows, it lives. However, I would try, for ease of usability to make a kind of con-tents.

I took part in the year 2007/08 at the full scale project „Mojo“ in South Africa. (www.ithuba-mojo.net) Finaly in 2010 I realized by my own a trai-ning center for homeless Ke-nyan athletes for an NGO near by Nairobi. My intentions-at the design were to „car-ve“ the building of a ficti-tious large rock. Here I was the supervisior of a construc-tion site with about 100 local construction workers. I designed an apartment

for a wheelchair ri-

der. The special feature

of this design is that

there are no stairs in

the whole apartment.

A ramp that stands out

even in material here

runs through the appro-

ximately 100 square me-

ters large housing unit.

The Architecture is

able to

change the human beh

avior and

influence their desic

ions. This

building is designed

to not only

encourage but also t

o force its

occupants to an infid

elity! All

the conditions for a

n affair -

the intimacy, the co

ncealment and

privacy but also pos

ibilities to

spy - are given. The

building

consists mainly of a

staircase.

So it is possible to

reach any

other guest without

being seen.

The next project deals with a Hotel design in Croatia Novigrad. Particular importance was placed on the one hand to the urban connectivi-ty of the object, and on the other also to the facade.

This volume will eventually be oc-cupied with the various functions. The volume in the interior can occur in various forms, since the outer-most Fssade ensure the cohesion.

ConnectionThe area between the outermost layer faca-de and the rooms will be utilized as part of a development and as a loggia. He will also serve as a connecting element and as such of-fer space for functions not previously seen. A clear semi-public area of the structures on the one hand the hotel the other hand, tur-ning the city.

I have completed my thesis in spring 2010. The theme was the revival of an industrial waste-land. The aim of this work is to fill the complex with life round the clock, mixing the most di-verse functions - container whe-never a city‘s fabric. Even as a city structure the public areas of importance were awarded. For a large block progressive public places will be knocked out. This process is documented using a picture story.
