A bit about me...I grew up in Orange County, CA surrounded by beautiful houses. By the time I was 13years old, I knew I wanted to be an interior designer. Turned out I come from a long line ofthem. While other children were playing outside, I sketched my dream home. One of myfavorite activities was checking out the new model home developments with my Mom.Later I would make my own scaled space plans from the floor plans in the brochure.

I value...I am constantly striving to grow and improve myself both professionally and personally. Iam always looking for ways to improve the level of service a client receives, theefficiency of a project’s time line and simplify the design process internally. I’m not afraidto try new things, see what works and reevaluate.

Being an interior designer means...Interior Designers have such a unique job. It’s so wonderful to be able to make a careerout of a passion for beautiful spaces. But most importantly, Designers get the privilege ofbecoming a part of the client’s life, just for a time, and changing the way they live for thebetter.

Good design is...When you enter a space you should gain a fresh perspective and feel a bit more like you.Good design can stimulate the imagination, make you think or calm your soul. Creatingspaces that connect with people and enhance their lives is the true power of gooddesign.

My influences...I have a strong appreciation for architecture which often influences my design aesthetic.From custom furniture pieces to exterior details, I enjoy finding practical, creativesolutions that provide functionality while adding visual interest. I lean towards symmetryand clean lines.

Interior design in the future...I believe design is for everyone. It shouldn’t be restricted to certain income brackets oreven home owners. With more resources becoming available to the general public,interior designers have to adapt their business structure. However, this also opens up anew demographic. Being more accessible will only strengthen the interior designindustry.
