• 8MB RAM (Efficient OS means this is OK)
• Over 7,500 programs available
• E.g. Palm, Handspring, Sony

Pocket PC
• Run Microsoft Windows Pocket PC (windows feel)
• Less efficient OS
• Generally wide range of applications as standard (Pocket Word, Pocket Outlook, MP3 players….)
• E.g. Compaq iPAQ, HP Jornada
Pockets PC / Handheld PC.
• Pocket PC. Screen quarter-VGA (320*240)
• Handheld PC. Screen half VGA or bigger (640*240, 640*480). With or without integrated keyboard.
• Windows CE OS (Pocket, Handheld versions)
• LINUX available.
Examples
•COMPAQ iPAQ - Colour, 206MHz StrongARM processor, 64MB. £400.
•HP Jornada - same specifications at iPAQ - Pocket or Handheld versions (MS Windows for Handheld PC).
