- Research Task: You are to prepare a research report on the post-war trials of war criminals involved in the Holocaust, their impact and the result of their trials. You will need to conduct your own research to complete this task.

- Read through the PowerPoint ‘DPs & emigration’. Afterwards answer the following questions: ‘describe the conditions in the camps post war’ and ‘describe post war emigration from Europe around the globe’.

DANCE Week 8

Students are to continue developing their movement for their Modern Dance Composition. Taking into consideration how they use and manipulate the elements of dance (space, time & dynamics), the characteristics of Modern Dance (use of parallel and turn-out, torso generated movement, movement into and out of the floor, shifting of the centre of gravity), Modern Dance Techniques (Graham, Horton Humphries) and how they finish the dance to assist with the communication of their interpretation of the movement

PHOTO- GRAPHY

Week 8/9 Students’ are to create TWO A4 posters for ‘Harmony Day’ (Saturday 21st March). Students can use either Photoshop (if installed on their devices) or Canva (online editing website) to create their posters. The posters should include: the colour orange, and some form of the quote “Harmony Day celebrates Australia’s cultural diversity. It’s about inclusiveness, respect and a sense of belonging for everyone.”. The posters should be appropriate for years 7-12 student audience, and focus on the key themes of Harmony Day. Week 10/11 Students are to utilise their three photomontages from Task 1, to create a zine focusing on the theme Surrealism. Each image needs to be accompanied by a short blurb of text relating to the surreal theme shown within the photo, forming some explanation of the composition and/or creative choices taken in the creation of the photomontage. If you do not have access to your photos from Task 1, all submitted photomontages have been uploaded to a folder on Moodle.
