ABSORCIÓN DE AGUA (ISO 10545-3)

Water absortion

Se emplea el método de ebullición, en el que se sumerge la baldosa en agua hirviendo. El coeficiente

de absorción se calcula como el cociente entre la diferencia de la masa húmeda y seca, y la masa seca.

The boilling water method is used. The tile is submerged in boilling water for specified period of time.

The coefficient of water absorption is calculated as the quotient of the difference between the wet and

dry mass, and the dry mass.

La absorción de agua de todos nuestros modelos está por debajo del 0,3 %.

The water absortion of all our models is below 0,3%.

RESISTENCIA A LA FLEXIÓN (ISO 10545-4)

resistance to flexion

Se aplica una fuerza a una velocidad determinada en el centro de la misma, estando el punto de

aplicación en contacto con la superficie de la cara vista de la baldosa.

A force is applied at a predeterminited velocity in the centre of the tile, being the point of application in

contact with the outer face of the tile.

La resistencia a la flexión de todos nuestros modelos es superior a los 35 N/mm2.

The resistance to flexion of all our models is above 35 n/mm2 .

RESISTENCIA AL CHOQUE TÉRMICO (ISO 10545-9)

resistance to the thermal shock

Se somete a la baldosa entera a diez ciclos de variación de temperatura entre +15ºC y +145ºC.

A whole tile is subjected to 10 cycles of temperature variation between +15ºC y +145ºC.

RESISTENCIA AL CUARTEO (ISO 10545-11)

resistance to cracking

Se determina la resistencia a la formación de fisuras sometiendo baldosas enteras al vapor, a alta

presion en un autoclave, y examinando con la aplicación de un tinte.

Resistance to fisure formation is determined by subjecting whole tiles to steam at high pressure in an

autoclave, and examining them with the application of a dye.



RESISTENCIA A LA HELADA (ISO 10545-12)

resistance to freezing

Después de empaparlas con agua, se someten las baldosas a ciclos entre +5ºC y -5ºC. todos los

lados de la baldosa son expuestos a congelación durante un mínimo de 100 ciclos de congelación-

deshielo.

After being saturated in water, the tiles are subjected to cycles ranging fron +5ºC to -5ºC. All sides of the

tiles are exposed to freezing for a minimum of 100 freezing/thawing cycles.



RESISTENCIA QUÍMICA (ISO 10545-13)

resistance to chemicals

Se someten las baldosas a la acción de soluciones de ensayo y valoración visual del ataque tras un

período definido. Para productos de limpieza doméstica y piscinas las clases son GA, GB y GC. Para

ácidos y bases débiles son GLA, GLB y GLC. Para los ácidos y bases en concentración fuerte son GHA,

GHB y GHC. Se clasifican de A (sin efecto visible) a C (con efectos visibles).

The tiles are subjected to the action of the assay solutions with vissual assessment of the attack after a

specified period of time. For domestic cleaning and swimming-pool products the clases are GA, GB and

GC. For weak acids and bases: GLA, GLB and GLC. And for concentrated acids and bases: GHA, GHB and

GHC. The effect is classified from A (no visible effect) to C (visible effects).

Todos nuestros modelos alcanzan la clasificación GA y GLA.

RESISTENCIA A LAS MANCHAS (ISO 10545-14)

resistance to staining

Se mantiene la cara vista en contacto con diversas soluciones de ensayo, limpiando sus superficies

con métodos de limpieza definidos, y examinándolas para detectar cambios irreversibles de aspecto.

Se clasifican del 1 (mancha persistente) al 5 (mancha eliminada).

The outer face of the tile is kept in contact with several assay solutions, then cleared using specified cle-

aning methods, and examined to detect irreversible changes of apperance. These are classified between

1 (persistent stain) and 5 (stain eliminated).
