ON-LINE REGISTRATION is available!! Please note that online registration will close one week before retreat starts. At that time, you may only register at the retreat in person. VISA, MASTERCARD, CHEQUES, PAYPAL and E-transfers are all accepted. (US students: NO cheques please.)
Classes BEGINNER: basic knowledge INTERMEDIATE: good understanding of fundamentals - average pace ADVANCED: extensive experience and skill - fast pace A Student Summery Sheet will be ready for you at the show. This sheet will tell you what classes you have, what room they are in and the supply fee. Supply fee is payable in cash to the teacher. This amount covers the cost of the project piece, its preparation, printing of patterns and instructions, shipping and other miscellaneous expenses incurred by the teacher.
Cancellation/Refund Policy If a student cancels before Aug 16, 2020 any fees paid for classes will be refunded. If a student cancels after Aug 16, 2020 there will be no refund. The student can transfer their registration to another student or try to sell their classes. The registration fee is NON-REFUNDABLE.

CLASS DESCRIPTIONS (What you can expect to learn from the class)
SP100 Join Debbie as she guides you thru all of the steps required to paint her beautiful design. This is a great opportunity to try out DecoArt Traditions Artist Acrylics New ‘Tube’ paints. 100 Students who take this class will be learning, shading, highlighting and line work. 101 For the White Peony, the students will learn a very loose style of painting starting with blending the
background wet on wet. We will use a double loaded angular brush to paint the peony petals bringing in tints from the background.
102 In this class students will be learning how to paint a copper patina on textured metallic. You will also learn to paint a bird and branch silhouette.
103 Learn how to paint this piece with lots of interest. Cindy used dry brush and streaking techniques as well as painting wet on wet…..no floats here! Finish with pouring medium, adding another layer of fun.
104 Students will learn easy beard techniques and how to decoupage. 105 Students will learn how to transfer design onto lead free pewter sheet using tracing paper and a
metal embellishment as texture plate. With metal embossing techniques, we will further enhance our project using ball and cup tools and texture wheels.
106 This is a very relaxing watercolour technique using Chalk Couture Silk Screen Transfers. As an added Bonus, students will do a make & take mini project to practice silk screen use and care.
107 Students will create a one of a kind scarf using folding & resist methods and a microwave to set the dye. We will cover safety in the dye room, mixing dyes colours, and care of your finished scarf.
108 Learn to create a textured background and how to work with a palette knife. 109 In the first part of this class, Lisa will demonstrate new techniques and methods using pouring
medium, acrylic paint and silicone oil to create amazing effects. In the second part of the class we will take pouring medium to the next level working on a dry piece with wide range of mediums.
110 In this class, students will be learning drybrushing techniques and how to paint a glass reflection. 111 The student, working from a kit provided, will learn how to foil, solder and polish this piece. 112 Learn to shade and highlight in this class. 113 Students will learn how to use the watercolour crystals as well as pen and ink techniques. 220 In this class, students will be creating the look of barn board and using mixed media to create the
banner. Stamps and Embossing Powder as well as Snowtex are used. 221 Students will learn easy techniques on how to create backgrounds, depth, the use of shadows and
light, and how to use colour for harmony and impact. 222 Participants will make an attractive frame for wallet-sized photos as well as learn a simple technique
to create a photo pocket. You will also learn how to create a flip back stand that works for both portrait and landscape photos.
223 The student, working from a kit provided, will learn how to foil, solder and polish this piece. 224 In this class, you will learn how to use masking fluid and salt. 225 Explore one of the hottest trends among artists today! ArtResin offers a sleek glossy finish for a
variety of creative applications. Learn how to mix ArtResin with acrylic paint to make a beautiful scene on a set of 4 coasters. Join Lisa for this fun 2 hour workshop.
226 Students will learn how to use texture paste and spoons to create flowers. 227 In this class, students will learn basic Mixed Media techniques, basic painting skills, and stamping
with paint. 230 Students will learn how to create this soft painting using lots of different techniques but NO floating!
Fun, fun, fun! 231 Drybrushing techniques and raised snowflakes will be taught in the class. 232 In this class, students will learn fun Mixed Media techniques! 233 Students will learn to paint a distressed background with crackle. You will learn to paint a distressed
boat and sign. The teacher will have some brushes for purchase in class.

234 Students will learn how to transfer design onto lead free pewter sheet using tracing paper. You will learn how to create a tiny high relief pewter rose using handheld tools, and how to do a fine cut-out using a dry-point needle tool. A chemical patina will add a vintage finish to the rose. Students will learn how to create a coloured background on the heart pendant using text paper, paints and waxes.
340 In this class you, will learn parchment craft techniques, embossing, perforating, and the use of 2 mediums.
341 Learn how to create an atmospheric painting. Gel mediums are used to add texture in the trees on the foreground.
342 In this monochromatic class you will be learning how to create with values. 343 Learn to paint these beautiful birch trees with 2 colours and a palette knife! 344 Participants in this class will learn basic cartonnage concepts and techniques through making a
stylish snap tray. This beginner level project is lots of fun and the snap tray itself is very useful for organizing, storing and traveling.
345 Students will learn felting methods to create a new fabric while creating a warm silk/wool scarf. 346 In this class, students will learn how to paint flowing fabric. You will also learn how to use a palette
knife wet on wet technique. 347 Students will learn shading and highlighting. 348 In this class, students will learn to create depth with layers of colour. 349 Participants will make an attractive and convenient Daily Planner (A5-6 hole size) using a broad
range of basic cartonnage techniques that can be confidently used afterwards for other exciting personalized items.
460 Learn the use of Colour Pencil on black Illustration board with blending tools. The teacher will have some items for purchase in class.
461 Students will learn how to transfer design onto lead free pewter sheet using a metal embellishment as a texture plate. 462 Learn Cindy’s batik technique which is fun and easy for all levels. Learn how to paint wet on wet with no stress and learn how Cindy gets these bold colours using watercolours. This style of painting is really a lot of fun! Come paint with Cindy so she can show you how to enjoy this medium!
463 Students will l earn chisel blending techniques, faux barn board techniques and brush lettering. 464 Students will be blending wet on wet, applying tints and washes, and learning this loose style of
suggested flowers. The teacher will have some brushes for purchase in class. 465 Students will make a delightful Felt brooch using pre-felted fabric, embroidery thread and beads.
Everyone will have their own unique design. No two will be alike. Only the method is the same.
