The Evaporative Unit Dropper is never the subject of any special attention but its job - to sit on your roof and connect the evaporative air conditioning unit to the ducting inside the roof is both essential and needs special care during the installation process. If it’s not installed correctly and made completely watertight it will cause leaks into the roof and unsightly and costly damage to your ceilings. It must also be strong enough to hold your evap unit for many years and through all weather.

Polyaire’s new DROP-X system is made up of tested components specifically designed to overcome the shortcomings of products used in the past. Made from high quality UV stabilised engineering polymers it won’t rust.

The airflow splitter thats easy to fit, airtight & provides good flow to all outletsThe Polyaire DROP-X Sock is a well designed airflow splitter that allows the transfer of airflow from the Evap unit to ducts in the roof cavity. With 4 outlets it is both easy and quick to fit due to the products unique hanging design.

It comes with small hooks that fit into holes in the DROP-X and a special non slip tension band that fits into a groove on the dropper body. This means that the weight of the DROP-X Sock and its attached ducts is not taken up by the duct tape used to seal against air leaks.

The full system supports itself, the duct tape is just there to seal air gaps. This means the whole unit is more stable & less likely to develop leaks over the years.
