Today, when you heard of the word politics what comes up to the mind of many

people is the neati!e !iews due to the proloned issues of corruption in our

o!ernment officials" #es, not all of the politicians are the same $ut for me in my

perception it%s !ery hard to trust or $elie!e a politician%s words" It is &ust li'e that these

politicians treat the o!ernment as a $usiness for themsel!es" There are politician

families that already e(pertise in maintainin their positions and winnin e!ery election

for enerations" Corruption can o$!iously seen e!en in our local or ordinary officials for

e(ample the usae of o!ernment !ehicle for pri!ate aendas, how much more to

an e(ample of this" The mind set of *ilipinos in politics has worsen, I may say that e!en

in &ust a simple school o!ernment orani.ation, this is already present for e(ample the

use of a lot of money durin elections and ma'in in&urious issues to the opponent

candidate" #es, what -onny )omino said in the article is true that ha!in a politician

relati!e or friend is power that is why many supports these politicians from ordinary

needy citi.ens to ad!antaeous professionals for their self/$enefits" 0any politicians

en&oy their position as o!ernment officials $ecause we let them" This is the reality of

today%s Philippine politics"

1ith all of the neati!es in our o!ernment and with all of the politicians that is

in!ol!ed with illeal acti!ities and a$use of power, there are still some o!ernment

officials that can $e trusted and honest with their wor' such as the late )I23 -ecretary
