2. Spain, Nerpio, Nerpio Observatory3. Italy, Carpineti, Rantiga Observatory4. Poland, Cracow, Solaris Observatory5. Poland, Oborniki, 6ROADS Observatory

The system of optical sensors allows for syste-mathic survilance and tracking of known and searching for unknown or lost objects.

With our observatories 6ROADS has full access to northern and southern hemisphere. Our ob-servatories are able to work 24/7 and only limi-ting factor is sun and weather.

Access controlled office, tripled (in case of problems) internet connections, satellite pho-nes and industrial grade computers makes our infrastructure rigid and ready for future challen-ges. Furthermore an organisational structures like SPOC and internal SOPs make 6ROADS a professional partner.

First 6ROADS observatory was made in 2003

and our observatories are among first automa-ted assets in Poland. Since that time we have implemented great numer of unique sollutions for automation and reduction of obtained data. Today with more than fourteen years of expirience we are managing our assets in most distant locations, night after night, sometimes under very difficult conditions. Our activity in projecting, building and software&automatics integration allow us to effectively manage re-mote astronomical observatories. The 6ROADS has theoretical and practical knowledge in te-lescope maintaining, collimation and sensors performance. Moreover, a large number of minor planet and comet observations and di-scoveries made by 6ROADS team confirms our knowledge and proficency in planetary astro-nomy.

Today the interest of 6ROADS team is mainly fo-cused on SSA, especially SST and NEA observa-tions. Longterm cooperation with universities and scentific centers give us instant insight in most recent research and trends in this field.

EVERSIS

Eversis is a technology company that has been operating on the market since 2003. Its custo-mers include companies from the 500 List of Rzeczpospolita and Deloitte CE TOP 500. Since 2015, Eversis has also been present in the space sector, offering dedicated IT systems and appli-cations for processing satellite data. As part of the strategic partnership with Airbus Defence and Space, the company is implementing a number of prestigious projects for the European Space Agency (ESA).

PRODUCTS AND SERVICESEversis provides advanced IT solutions in three areas of specialization: big data, contact centre and custom development. The company has: a highly qualified team of over 70 experts in the field of information technology, including ECSS methodology and consulting, its own test la-boratories and service centres. It cooperates with scientific and research units. Unique tech-nological competencies allow Eversis to carry out projects of the advanced Internet portals, knowledge management systems, task mana-gement systems (including those that manage such instruments as satellites) or data processing systems based on Big Data technologies (inclu-ding Apache Haadop or Spark).

SPACE PROJECTSEversis maintains, hosts and develops Earth Ob-servation portals (including earth.esa.int, senti-nel.esa.int) supporting the distribution of satelli-te products and technical information about ESA missions. The main task of Eversis is to improve

the portals so that access to data is as intuitive as possible, and thus end-user friendly.

GEOSS collects and provides the observational data from over a million resources, ie: satellite, re-mote sensing and aerial data, photographs and other research materials from the whole world thanks to the analysis of which, it is possible to prevent natural disasters, monitor climate chan-ge, or fight some diseases. The goal of the proje-ct was to improve the portal to so that it is more user-friendly, both in terms of the data access and navigation. A big challenge was to design and implement such IT solution that would be able to combine and properly stream a large number of constantly flowing observation data, and then enable the end users to use it efficiently and share data resources among specific groups of experts. Eversis developed a completely new intuitive interface of the portal and introduced a number of functionalities that unify the way of obtaining data and provide users with faster and more intuitive access to the ever-growing infor-mation resources. A newly designed interface allows not only for easier data mining but also its faster analysis.

System Disaster Charter for Internatio-nal Charter for Space and Major Disasters (ICSMD) supports the process of collection, deli-very, and remote sensing data processing for the crisis management services.  Due to the critical nature of the support, the application is avai-lable in 24/7/365 mode. In 2016, ESA decided to modernize the portal so as to make it even more

efficient. Eversis designed and implemented changes that improved the ergonomics of the user’s interface and automation of tasks related to the remote sensing. The main challenge was to design the interface the way its use would not only be simple and stable, but also all complex tasks would be fully automated, which is impor-tant in extreme situations where time and pre-cision matter.

Thales Alenia Space Polskawww.thalesgroup.com

Thales Alenia Space is a joint venture between Thales (67%) and Finmeccanica (33%).

For more than 40 years now, Thales Alenia Space has designed, integrated, tested, operated and delivered innovative space systems. Our cutting--edge products and services meet the needs of commercial and government customers from around the world, spanning the space, defen-se, science and security markets. Thales Alenia Space’s satellites and payloads are recognized worldwide as benchmarks in delivering commu-nications and navigation services, monitoring our environment and the oceans, better understan-ding climate change and supporting scientific research. Today, Thales Alenia Space is one of the main suppliers to the International Space Station, and a pivotal player in systems to explore our Uni-verse.

Along with Telespazio, Thales Alenia Space forms the Space Alliance, which offers a complete range of solutions and services.

Because of our unrivaled expertise in dual (civil--military) missions, constellations, flexible paylo-ads, altimetry, meteorology and high-resolution radar and optical observation, Thales Alenia Spa-ce is the natural partner to countries that want to expand their space program.

Thales Alenia Space logged consolidated sales exceeding 2,4 billion euros in 2016, and has some 8,000 employees in 9 countries.

PRODUCTS & SERVICESTelecommunicationThales Alenia Space is one of the world’s leading designers of telecommunications satellites, plat-forms and payloads. The telecom segment acco-unts for half of the company’s business.

Earth observationEarth observation - based on its high or very-high resolution optical and radar payloads. We have

established a position as a major supplier in ex-port markets, covering military, dual and civilian missions: intelligence gathering, target designa-tion, mapping, crisis management, meteorology, oceanography, climatology, etc.

NavigationEuropean satellite navigation - as prime con-tractor for the Egnos augmentation system, the precursor to Galileo. We play a major role in its de-velopment, with system support for Galileo and a lead role in the in-orbit validation phase, not only through the first four satellites to be launched, but above all by building the Mission Ground Segment for the complete constellation.

Orbital infrastructure and space transportThales Alenia Space is a major contributor to the International Space Station (ISS), responsible for over half of its pressurized volume, and played a major role on the ATV (Automated Transfer Vehic-le) cargo vessels for ESA and on NASA’s Cygnus program, which will also bring supplies to the ISS. Thales Alenia Space has leveraged its unrivaled expertise in orbital infrastructures and space transport to meet new challenges, including the IXV reentry demonstrator for ESA, and the pressurized compartment on SOAR (Sub-Orbital Aircraft Reusable), which will carry both scientific experiments and astronauts. Thales Alenia Space will also be a leading contributor to the Orion Multi-Purpose Crew Vehicle (MPCV) being deve-loped by NASA.

AREAS OF ACTIVITY IN THE SPACE SECTOR Telecommunications, Earth Observation, Science and Space Exploration, Navigation.

SCIENCE AND SPACE EXPLORATIONThales Alenia Space has always played an integral role in these hugely successful science and ex-ploration programs. We also played a lead role in the recent Rosetta-Philae comet landing mission,

in particular taking charge of the assembly, inte-gration and testing of the Rosetta probe, as well as Europe’s Bepi-Colombo mission to explore the planet Mercury. In 2015, Thales Alenia Space is ce-lebrating the 10th anniversary of the Cassini-Huy-gens mission, including the landing on Saturn’s largest moon, Titan, by the Huygens probe, built by Thales Alenia Space as prime contractor. Our next scientific challenge is the European program Euclid, designed to help further our understan-ding of dark matter. The company is also a prime contractor on the ExoMars mission, which aims to study the Martian environment, atmosphere and soil. This mission will generate a mother lode of data, feeding researchers for many years to come. For the 2016 mission, Thales Alenia Space is in charge of designing the reentry module and designing and integrating the orbital module. On the 2018 mission, the French-Italian joint ventu-re is in charge of developing the navigation and guidance system for the orbital and descent mo-dules, as well as designing the Martian rover and building the analysis lab carried by the rover. This lab features a perforator, capable of drilling two meters deep into the Martian soil and removing samples.
