Last year, the fair was visited by the representatives of the largest retail chains, food wholesalers, Cash&Carry wholesalers – chief executives, directors, managers, merchants, such as the representatives of Auchan, Billa, Carrefour, Chata Polska, Eurocash, Intermarche, Kaufland, Lidl, Makro, Małpka, Piotr i Paweł, Selgros ,Tesco, The Fine Group Polska, Żabka.

Each year, almost 500 products enter the competition for the Gold Medal of Międzynarodowe Targi Poznańskie. However, only the ones that meet the statutory criteria and obtain posi-tive recommendations of the professional jury will receive this prestigious award. The jury, which is a team of experts consisting of eminent specialists representing adequate areas of economic life, looks for modern, innovative products, manufactured basing upon top class technologies. MTP Gold Medal is thus a confirmation of product excellence and, consequently, an element of its promotion in the market.

I see last year’s Polagra Food very positive – as compared to the fair events of the past few years, I think it was one of the best projects. The organization of the event should be praised, as well as good contact of MTP’s employees with the exhibitors, and the design of the stands. Thanks to good promotion during the fair, I had an opportunity to meet people from the meat industry from other countries – the exchange of valuable experience and promotion of Polish food is another advantage.
