Eleutherococus senticosus

Eleutherococus senticosusI grow when the sun touches me.

 A breathing duet,we count each pulse

to continue the day

with air that ascendssits

and then walkslifting the notes

feeding each cell

of this body that blessesits fresh fruit gasp

every morning.Like the iguana

I jump

clinging to despairrecognizing in this fall

the scent of freedom.
