Shamal rigid Polycarbonate sheet offers impact resistance superior to glass and acrylic. Shamal Polycarbonate sheet .O33 in (.8mm) thick can withstand over 240 in-lbs of im-

pact. And, Shamal Corrugated sheet maintains its impact properties at temperatures ranging from 4o C to 120o C.

Individual / Commercial Car Garage Roofing Polycarbonate sheds are ideal for parking your car to prevent any damage from the ele-

Design of skylights

Skylights are custom made with a variety of slope, pitch or shapes depending on the site requirement. The skylight takes any shape over an opening and is iden-

tified as a Double-Hip over a rectangular opening. Rafter placement, size and thickness of the sheets are determined by the geometry created by the combina-

tion of the relationships between sides and the desired slope. Multi-sided pyra-mids are available over six or eight sided openings as well as over irregular multi

-sided opening in all sorts of configurations. Skylight pitch is determined by ar-chitectural conditions or aesthetic requirements.

We produce Skylights made of Glass/ Stained Glass/ Polycarbonate/ Acrylic, using alumi-

num or stainless steel structures. Our products include :

What are Noise Barriers?

Noise barriers are solid obstructions built between a highway and the homes along its

sides. They do not completely block all noise. They only reduce overall noise levels. Ef-

fective noise barriers typically reduce noise levels by 5 to 10 decibels (dB), cutting the

loudness of traffic noise by as much as one half. For example, a barrier which achieves a

10-dB reduction can reduce the sound level of a typical tractor trailer passing-by to that

of an automobile.

must be designed to preserve aesthetic values and scenic vistas;

do not increase noise levels perceptibly on the opposite side of a highway; and

substantially reduce noise levels for people living next to highways

Installation of Polycarbonate or Cast Acrylic Sound Barrier

Polycarbonate sheets can be installed on frames of Aluminium, Steel, Plastic Profiles,

Wood or similar solid materials. Polycarbonate Solid Glazing material is virtually un-

breakable and has the freedom of Drilling, Cutting and Milling, using the right Tools. If

Acrylic sheet is recommended to be used as the Barrier, only Casted Acrylic sheet should

be used since normal Extruded sheet can break in due course of time. In case of using

sealants along with Polycarbonate or Acrylic Sheet, only specifically recommended ones

(water based) are to be used. Appropriate care is to be taken while drilling and fixing

these Sheets to avoid stress cracking.

sidering its Compactness, high Impact resistance, aesthetic look, weather ability and in-

stallation freedom.

Field studies and opinion in Advanced and Developing countries reveals that most resi-

dents near a barrier seem to feel that High way Polycarbonate Noise Barriers effectively

reduce traffic noise while preserving the scenic view. In general, though noise barriers

do not eliminate all highway traffic noise, they do reduce it substantially and improve the

quality of life for people who live adjacent to busy highways.
