- Full-time, 14 days in/14 days out- Under the supervision of the Shift Supervisor, the primary role of Miner is to inspect existing underground headings, scale loose rocks and install ground support to stabilize rock mass and ensure safety. - Since 1971, the Red Lake Indian Friendship Centre (RLIFC) has delivered a range of social, educational and health programs for urban Aboriginal people of all ages - from infants to seniors. Knowledge of psychotropic medications and experience in working with persons with psychiatric disorders is essential. Training in the implementation of the OCAN, suicide intervention, and CISM is an asset. Strong typing, word processing and email skills, a satisfactory Criminal Records Check, a valid driver’s license, and access to a vehicle are necessary.

Addictions Outreach Counsellor - Work with persons with addictions issues and concurrent disorders. Oftentimes,

these persons are not engaged with counselling services, and this position would involve connecting with vulnerable populations, building rapport, and providing crisis intervention, support with day to day needs, advocacy, counselling, and therapy as indicated. Work will be conducted at the local hospital, medical clinic, high school, women’s shelter, and in our counselling agency.

The Addictions Outreach Counsellor must:- Have direct experience counselling vulnerable persons (youth, homeless, women,

Indigenous) with addictions issues and mental health conditions;- Be skilled in conducting clinical biopsychosocial assessments with use of

Bowling Alley Attendant - 1 pm – 4:00 pm primarily Saturdays- You will assume the role of attending to the Bowling Alley, which will include the responsibility of customer service, receiving payments, preparing food, organizing birthday parties and other bookings, maintaining cleanliness and various other tasks, as assigned. - Responsibilities: greet customers and set up bowling games, accept payments, prepare simple canteen food and sell beverages, be responsible for the safety of customers and co-workers and follow emergency procedures: schedule and assist with birthday parties and other organized functions, maintain cleanliness of bowling alley, lanes, and bathrooms. - Qualifications: must be 16 years of age or older, must be friendly and courteous and able to uphold a high level of customer service, must be able to work efficiently multi-task and work with minimal supervision, pleasant, flexible, and cooperative, ensure confidentiality in all company dealings, foster a balanced positive work environment, experience in customer service or receptionist duties is an asset.

- Since 1971, the Red Lake Indian Friendship Centre (RLIFC) has delivered a range of social, educational and health programs for urban Aboriginal people of all ages - from infants to seniors. The RLIFC requires 2 Adventure Camp Educators to deliver a 8 week summer camp program for urban Aboriginal children ages 7-12 yrs. The Adventure Camp will be delivered in July & August and will provide a weekly schedule of arts, sports, cultural and recreational activities in a fun, safe and learning environment.- QUALIFICATIONS:

Between 15 and 30 years of age at the start of employment Registered as a full-time student during the preceding academic year Intends to return to school on a full-time basis during the next academic

year Is a student in a secondary or post-secondary, vocational or technical

program Is a Canadian citizen or permanent resident and legally entitled to work in Ontario

-RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide supervision for children ages 7-12 yrs Plan, organize and implement camp activities Produce monthly/weekly calendar of activities for parents/caregivers
