Session Aim & Process
This activity gives the participants the chance to communicate their research to others whomay be less familiar with their area, field or discipline. It then challenges them not only tounderstand others work, but also to consider how they might collaborate in the future on agenuine research project that would combine their skills and professional research interests.
At a higher level, it allows them to explore the prospect of collaborating with people theymight not otherwise consider working with. All of this takes place within the context ofdeveloping and presenting a proposal for a piece of interdisciplinary research.
