PPH THREADED System

Our PPH Threaded pipes & fittings are manufactured with high molecular weight polypropylene homopolymer - or PPH. This material was specially selected due to its high resistance to high pressures & temperatures. More dense than PPR Plus, this material provides threads with the necessary rigidity to maintain a water tight seal.

We were the first manufacturer in the world to produce a polypropylene threaded system & have used that experience to produce one of the world’s best piping systems.

Internal anti-oxidant layer maintains purity of water. The smooth surface also avoids scale build up, resulting in minimal load loss.

The tough yet lightweight polypropylene pipe will never corrode like metal pipes do. This means no brown water, & makes PPH Threaded ideal for bore holes as well as normal hot & cold water applications.

A thin white layer helps the threading process, reducing the time & effort needed to install the system.

The protective external layer provides protection for the pipe & contains an anti UV compound, resulting in a 50% higher performance than other manufacturers.

PUSHFIT System

FlowPlumb Systems™ Pushfit barrier pipe is manufactured in the UK from Polybutelyne (PB). This makes the pipe flexible enough to feed through buildings without the need for expensive fittings like elbows & joints. This pipe is supplied in coils, so you can easily install a Pushfit system using just ONE fitting at the start of the pipe & ONE at the end where it attaches to a tap.

However, if more complex solutions are required, a whole range of fittings are available. FlowPlumb Systems™ fittings simply push onto the pipe.

DEMOUNTABLEMistakes can happen, but the FlowPlumb™ Pushfit System has been designed to allow for this. All of our white fittings are fully demountable & can be removed AND used again, meaning you don’t have to throw anything away. To demount a fitting, simply put the outer ring (1) back into the fitting (2) and gently pull the pipe out (3).

The FlowPlumb™ manifold system provides a central control point for water distributing (much like simple electrical circuits), so that services can be isolated for essential maintenance such as changing a tap.

STEP 1 - Choosing the Right Size Gutter1: Calculate Effective Roof Area

STEP 2 - Before Starting Work

STEP 3 - Installation

• Identify position of the drain.

• Run a plumb line where Downpipe is to be positioned, ending at the drain.

• Fix Gutter Outlet at top of plumb-line.

• From the Outlet, fix Support Bracket at intervals of 80cm following the gradient of the string line.

• Check that the facia is level & determine the gutter fall from the furthest end towards the Outlet.

• Fix the Support Bracket at the furthest end.

• Run a string line from the Support Bracket to the Outlet.

• Insert the Gutter into the Outlet level with the ‘insert to here’ line.

• At the other end of the Gutter, mark the position where the Joint Bracket will be fixed onto the facia.

• Cut the last piece of Gutter to the required length to finish the run. Make sure the cut is square.

• Fix the last piece of Gutter & a Stop End into the final Support Bracket.

• Remove the Gutter & fix Joint Bracket on the mark.

• Re-insert Gutter into Outlet & Joint Bracket & click into place.

• Repeat until last length of Gutter.

• Fit the top Offset Bend to the Outlet.

• Holding the Bottom Offset Bend, measure the length of pipe needed (left) & cut Downpipe section to fit.

• Fix all sections of Downpipe together.

• Check the water tightness of the Gutter.

• Block off the Gutter Outlet.

• Fill the Gutter with water.

• Correct any leaks, then repeat. When satisfied, unblock the Outlet.

• Use the Spirit Level to ensure Downpipe is straight.

• Fit a Pipe Clip below the Bottom Offset Bend then every 80cm down the Downpipe.

• Fit the Downpipe Shoe onto the end of the Downpipe.
