El polimetacrilato de metilo o acrílico es un termoplástico transparente. Las placas de acrílico son capaces de soportar duras condi-ciones climáticas, incluyendo la radiación UV.

Estas hojas mantienen sus propiedades ópticas durante varios años y son adecuadas para industrias como la construcción y la seña-lización. Las propiedades mecánicas y ópticas del acrílico lo convierten en un excelente sustituto del vidrio.

Las láminas de PETG se procesan fácilmente y pueden ser moldeadas en diferentes piezas y formas. Son fácilmente termoformadas, incluso en calibres gruesos de hasta 12 mm a diferen-cia del policarbonato.

Las láminas de PETG no requieren pre-secado y pueden ser termoformadas en espesores mayores que los del acrílico. Pueden ser dobla-das en frío y cortadas con láser.

PETG sheets are easily processed and can be moulded into different pieces and shapes. They are easily thermoformed, even in thick gauges up to 12 mm unlike Polycarbonate.

PETG sheets do not require pre-drying and can be thermoformed into thicknesses greater than those of Acrylic. They can be cold bent and laser-cut.

El Cloruro de Polivinilo es químicamente estable y poco inflamable tendiendo a una mínima susceptibilidad de fisuras de esfuerzos.

La temperatura de uso continuo del PVC se encuentra entre -15ºC y +60ºC aprox. Dispone de resistencia rigidez y dureza elevadas.

TPolyvinyl Chloride is chemically stable and not very flammable, tending to have a minimal susceptibility to stress cracks.

Las láminas también son resistentes al agrieta-miento por tensión ambiental y a los productos químicos. Están disponibles en dos grados principales: hoja de ABS de grado de ingeniería y hoja de ABS de grado de formación de vacío.

El Polietileno ofrece una buena combinación de rigidez, tenacidad y resiliencia junto con una buena resistencia al desgaste y a la abrasión.

Debido a su buena resistencia a sustancias químicas, el polietileno es insensible al ataque de la mayoría de los ácidos y las lejías. La temperatura de uso continuo se encuentra entre -50º C y aprox. +90º C
