Greetings from your Chamber President, Gary Meyer, Prior Lake State Bank
We are true Minnesotans, April 10 brought one of the best days for Ladies Night Out at
Sailer’s Greenhouse, where we had 13 vendors and over 100 ladies making beautiful fairy
gardens/or other great gardening projects. The rest of the month, I think it rained and snowed!
Upcoming events include: Senior Luncheon is on May 5 at the VFW. Thank you to the event
sponsors: St. Gertrudes, Club Prior, Visiting Angels, Goldsmith Eye Care, New Market Bank,
and all the other lunch sponsors, volunteers and to the committee for making this event very successful!!
Golf is back this spring on May 19 at Ridges at Sand Creek. Thank you to the event sponsors: Sheldon Bryant/

Our membership meeting is Wednesday, May 21 at Legends Golf Club. Check in begins at 11:30 am with
lunch at noon. This event will be networking; so bring business cards to exchange.
Thank you to Mystic Lake for hosting a multi-chambered event on May 29 from 4:30 to 7 pm. Please sign up
if you can make it.
Keep in mind our Chamber member businesses as you prepare for Mother’s Day, graduation parties, Memorial
Day, yard clean up and repair items. “Shop Local, Shop Often”.
We’ve got a busy summer coming up, loads of networking opportunities, meeting and greeting the people you
do business with. Check your calendar and get involved. We have numerous new members so help Sandi and I
show them how great a chamber we have in Prior Lake.
Save the date for Lakefront Days for August 7, 8, 9. Forms have been emailed out to our members, so sign up
quickly, some of the events and sponsorships fill up quickly!
In closing for this month’s newsletter, as in previous months, I will ask each of you… are you getting the most
out of the Prior Lake Chamber? If not, are you putting the most into it? Become active and SPONSOR of one
our numerous events and get your business name recognized. If you can’t become a sponsor, become a
VOLUNTEER and make yourself present at one or more of the events and meet people, talk to them, let them
get to know you… and they will eventually become one of your clients.
