Do not use attachments not recommended by themanufacturerastheymaycausehazards.

Openings in thecabinetareprovided forventilation.Toensurereliableoperationoftheproductandtoprotectitfromoverheating, theseopeningsmust not beblockedorcovered.

Hotairisexhaustedfromtheexhaustvent.Whenusingor installing the projector, the following precautionsshouldbetaken.–Donotputanyflammableobjectorspraycanneartheprojector,hotairisexhaustedfromtheairvents.

–Keeptheexhaustventatleast3’(1m)awayfromanyobjects.

–Do not touch a peripheral part of the exhaust vent,especiallyscrewsandmetallicparts.Theseareaswillbecomehotwhiletheprojectorisbeingused.

–Donotputanythingonthecabinet.Objectsputonthecabinetwillnotonlygetdamagedbutalsomaycausefirehazardbyheat.

Cooling fans are provided to cool down the projector.The fans’ running speed is changed according to thetemperatureinsidetheprojector.

CAUTION IN CARRyING OR TRANSPORTING THE PROjECTOR

–Donotdroporbumptheprojector,otherwisedamagesormalfunctionsmayresult.

–Whencarryingtheprojector,useasuitablecarryingcase.

–Donot transport theprojectorbycourieroranyothertransportservice inanunsuitabletransportcase.Thismay cause damage to the projector. For informationabouttransportingtheprojectorbycourieroranyothertransportservice,consultyourdealer.

–Donotputtheprojectorinacasebeforetheprojectoriscooledenough.

Moving the ProjectorWhenmoving theprojector, replace theLensCapandretract adjustable feet to prevent damage to the lensandcabinet.Whentheprojectorisnotinuseforanextendedperiod,put it into thesuppliedcarryingcasewith the lenssideup.

CAUTION

The carrying case (supplied) is intended for protectionagainst dust and scratches on surface of the cabinet,and it is not designed to protect an appliance fromexternalforces.Donottransporttheprojectorbycourieror anyother transport servicewith this case, otherwisethe projector can be damaged.When handling theprojector,donotdrop,bump,subject ittostrongforces,orputotherthingsonthecabinet.

For reducing power consumption as well as maintainingthe lamp life, thePowermanagement function turns off theprojectionlampwhentheprojectorisnotoperatedforacertainperiod.

If the input signal is interruptedandnobutton is pressed formore than 30 seconds, the timer display with “No signal”appears. It starts the countdownuntil the lamp is turnedoff.UsethePoint◄►buttonstosetthecountdowntimer.

Filterspreventsdustfromaccumulatingontheopticalelementsinsidetheprojector.Shouldthefiltersbecomecloggedwith dust particles, itwill reduce cooling fans’ effectiveness andmay result in internal heat buildupandadverselyaffect the lifeof theprojector. Ifa “Filterwarning” iconappearson thescreen,clean the filtersimmediately.Cleanthefilterbyfollowingthestepsbelow.

Gently clean the filters by using a brush or rinse itsoftly.�When rinsing the filters, dry theywell. Replace thefilters properly. Make sure that the filters are fullyinsertedtotheprojector.

CAUTIONDo not operate the projector with the filtersremoved. Dust may accumulate on the opticalelementsdegradingpicturequality.Do not put anything into the air vents.Doing somayresultinmalfunctionoftheprojector.

RECOMMENDATION we recommend avoiding dusty/smoky environments

when you operate the projector . Usage in these environments may cause poor image quality . Whenusingtheprojectorunderdustyorsmokyconditions,dustmay accumulate on a lens, LCDpanels, or opticalelements inside the projector degrading the quality of aprojected image.When thesymptomsabovearenoticed,contactyourauthorizeddealerorservicestationforpropercleaning.

Cleaning the Projector Cabinet

Cleaning the Projection LensUnplugtheACpowercordbeforecleaning.

Gentlywipe the projection lenswith a cleaning cloth thatcontainsasmallamountofnon-abrasivecameralenscleaner,or usea lens cleaningpaper or commercially available airblowertocleanthelens.

Avoid using an excessive amount of cleaner.Abrasivecleaners,solvents,orotherharshchemicalsmightscratchthesurfaceofthelens.

UnplugtheACpowercordbeforecleaning.

Gentlywipe theprojector bodywith a soft dry cleaning cloth.Whenthecabinetisheavilysoiled,useasmallamountofmilddetergentandfinishwithasoftdrycleaningcloth.Avoidusinganexcessiveamountofcleaner.Abrasivecleaners,solvents,orotherharshchemicalsmightscratchthesurfaceofthecabinet.

Theprojectordetectsanabnormalconditionandcannotbe turnedon. Unplug theAC power cord and plug it again to turn on theprojector. If theprojector is turnedoff again,unplug theACpowercord and contact the dealer or the service center for service andcheckup.Do not leave the projector on. Itmay cause an electricshockorafirehazard.
