WHAT TO BRING

To each playgroup session, please bring along:

a piece of fruit to share for morning tea

a sun hat for the sunny days

warm outside clothes and inside slippers or socks for Wintry days.

A Waldorf Steiner playgroup is fundamentally a place of heightened adult consciousness. To create a nurturing, safe and joyous playgroup, both parents and playgroup leader work together. A vital aspect of this is when parents support the playgroup leader to ‘hold’ the rhythm of the playgroup. One practical way for this to take place is in the singing of the transition songs and being mindful of the aims and qualities of the playgroup program. Please see ‘Morning Rhythm’ over the page.

PARENT ROLES

Please keep in mind that our children are very sensitive to the environment that surrounds them. Therefore, more intense conversations are best held during outside play. MOBILE PHONES & CAMERAS

We ask that all parents, carers and visitors keep their mobile phones on silent during the playgroup session and that if calls need to be taken, it is carried out with discretion.

Anyone wishing to take photographs must check with the playgroup Coordinator - preferably prior to the playgroup session commencing.
