THE POST BASE AND LEAVING THE BELOW GRADE FOOTINGS

PRIOR TO THE START OF CONSTRUCTION BY KIDS AROUND THE

WORLD. CONTRACTOR SHALL BEGIN SITE PREPARATION AND

ERECT CONSTRUCTION FENCING PRIOR TO THIS REMOVAL.

11. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL KEEP THE PREMISES ON WHICH THE

WORK IS BEING DONE CLEAR OF RUBBISH AND DEBRIS AT ALL

TIMES. ALL MATERIALS AND DEBRIS REMOVED FROM THE SITE

SHALL BE DISPOSED OF LEGALLY.

12. CONTRACTOR SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR STREET CLEANING

TO KEEP ADJACENT STREETS AND ALLEYS CLEAR OF DIRT AND

DEBRIS.

13. CONTRACTOR SHALL REMOVE EVERYTHING NECESSARY TO

COMPLETE CONSTRUCTION. LABELS ARE FOR CONVENIENCE

ONLY AND THE CONTRACTOR SHALL VERIFY REMOVALS PRIOR TO

SUBMITTING THE BID FOR WORK ON THIS PROJECT.

14. IT IS THE CONTRACTORS RESPONSIBILITY TO INSTALL

CONSTRUCTION BARRIERS AND FENCING TO PROTECT THE

PROPOSED WORK, FOR PUBLIC SAFETY AND TO PROVIDE

SECURITY.

15. EXISTING DEBRIS PILES NOT ACCOUNTED FOR ON THE SURVEY

GRADING NOTES

1. BEFORE ANY EXCAVATION ON THE SITE, CALL JULIE @ 811. TO LOCATE ANY EXISTING UTILITIES

ON THE SITE. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL BECOME FAMILIAR WITH THE LOCATIONS OF ALL BURIED

UTILITIES IN THE AREAS OF WORK BEFORE STARTING OPERATIONS. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL

BE LIABLE FOR COST OF REPAIRING OR REPLACING ANY BURIED CONDUITS, CABLES OR PIPING

DAMAGED DURING THE INSTALLATION OF THIS WORK.

2. CAREFULLY MAINTAIN PRESENT GRADE AT BASE OF ALL EXISTING TREES TO REMAIN. PREVENT

ANY DISTURBANCE OF EXISTING TREES INCLUDING ROOT ZONES. USE TREE PROTECTION

BARRICADES WHERE INDICATED. PROTECT EXISTING TREES TO REMAIN IN PLACE AGAINST

UNNECESSARY CUTTING, BREAKING OR SKINNING OF ROOTS, BRUISING OF BARK OR

6. ALL NEW PAVING TO HAVE A MAX. CROSS SLOPE OF 2% AND MIN. OF 1%. ALL NEW PAVING SHALL

BE SLOPED TO DRAIN TO ADJACENT CURB OR YARD DRAIN/CATCH BASIN.

7. ANY PROPOSED GRADES ON PAVEMENT LESS THAN 1% OR GREATER THAN 5% SHALL BE

BROUGHT TO THE ATTENTION OF THE LANDSCAPE ARCHITECT PRIOR TO PAVEMENT

INSTALLATION.

8. FINISH GRADES SHALL MEET EXISTING GRADES AT LIMIT OF WORK AND BE 1" BELOW TOP OF

CURBS AND ADJACENT PAVING, UNLESS OTHERWISE INDICATED.

9. GRADE TRANSITIONS SHALL BE SMOOTH & CONTINUOUS.

10. ASSURE POSITIVE DRAINAGE. NO PONDING OR PUDDLING.

11. EROSION CONTROL SILT FENCE, IF REQUIRED BY VILLAGE OR OTHER AGENCY, IS
