Writing Phase 3 Short Simple Sentences

You could write some short sentences about what you are getting up to at home and share these with me on tapestry. A short sentence is around 5 words. Make sure your letters are sitting on the lines.

Can you read these Phase 3 sentences?

Can someone read them to you and you have a go at writing them?

Writing Phase 2 Short Captions and words

You could write some short captions about what you are getting up to at home and share these with me on tapestry.

Can you read these Phase 2 captions?

Can you read the Phase 2 words?

Can someone read them to you and you have a go at writing them?

Let’s have a sing-along!

(To the tune of “She’ll be coming round the mountain.”)

There’s a tiny caterpillar on a leaf; wiggle, wiggle,

There’s a tiny caterpillar on a leaf; wiggle, wiggle.

There’s a tiny caterpillar, tiny caterpillar, tiny caterpillar on a leaf; wiggle, wiggle!

A cocoon is what he’s spinning for his home; spin, spin,

A cocoon is what he’s spinning for his home; spin, spin,

A cocoon is what he’s spinning, a cocoon is what he’s spinning, a cocoon is what he’s

spinning for his home; spin spin!

Then he’ll be a butterfly and flap away; flap, flap,

Then he’ll be a butterfly and flap away; flap, flap,

Then he’ll be a butterfly, be a butterfly, then he’ll be a butterfly and flap away; flap flap!
