STREET SMARTS II

 

Introduction:  

In Street Smarts I the user learns about the tools used by the small speculator to gain an advantage against the big players in the market place.  In Street Smarts II, those lessons are compiled into a series of mechanical strategies ready to be used ‘out‐of‐the‐box.’  

Benefits:  Street Smarts II allows the user to quickly start trading the strategies based on the lessons of Street Smarts.  Since the user does not need to code the strategies and tweak them, simulated and real trading of the techniques begins sooner. Trade Navigator users will be able to test each of the several strategies included and get a feel for how they react in different markets and condition.  This variety allows the user to have a well stocked tool bag of techniques that can tackle the majority of trading situations in the market.

Strategies:  LR ADX Gaps 

A Gap strategy that confirms trends by using the ADX and the DMI±.                   

 LR ADX with changes 

A strategy that enters on daily closes based upon recent close trends.  The ADX is use to confirm the trends.

LR Anti Stochastics A stochatics strategy that is based on of Linda Ratchke’s ANTI technique.             

 LR Changes 

This strategy is the same as the ‘LR ADX with changes’ but does not include the ADX to confirm the trend.

LR ROC in RSI A Stop Entry strategy that uses the RSI to determine the trend.                 

 LR Soup 

A Stop entry strategy that looks to enter after the confirmation of a trend hitting support for long trades or resistance for short trades.

LR Soup and Crackers A Stop entry strategy that looks to enter after the confirmation of a trend hitting support for long trades or resistance for short trades, (addition confirmation over the LR Soup).

A market close strategy that seeks to determine the trend change by looking for a divergence of a bars direction versus the recent trend.
