Maharana Pratap Group of Institutions draws its inspiration from the great
Rajput ruler, Rana Pratap of Mewar, son of Maharana Udai Singh. Born in
1590, he was a great patriot and warrior who had the courage to fight the
powerful Mughal forces under emperor Akbar. He continued to fight
against the Mughals till his last breath and never compromised with his
dignity and self-respect. He along with his family shared the agony and
hardships of the masses without the least sense of exploitation. His life is
an example of living with honour and empathy.
MPGI salutes the spirit of the great warrior Maharana Pratap & commits
itself to follow the path of self respect, dignity & nationalism.

“A teacher affects eternity; he can never tell where his influence stops.”
elieving strongly how important is the role of a teacher in shaping up the child's Bsensibilities; MPGI does not compromise on the quality of faculty it takes under its
ambit. MPGI has well- qualified and experienced faculty members who believe that
learning is an ongoing process and it never stops. Their ability to keep learning and updating
their knowledge on the latest trends in their respective fields is what makes MPGI retain its
character to impart education par excellence. This approach will not only add to an important
attribute of a truly world class university but in turn will also serve as a key driver for eminent
educationists to congregate by migrating from other institutions of eminence. Top faculty
attracts top students - an auto-catalytic process!
As its commitment to “excellence in education” Pratap University has an ongoing process for
the further academic and intellectual development of its faculty and staff which it would
accomplish through knowledge-based training and professional development programmes,
expert-lectures, academic and professional exchanges, workshops, seminars, conferences
and mentoring.
