HOW TO PLAY
DOMINOES NUMBER OF PLAYERS: 2–4 TYPES OF DOMINOES USED: Double 6 TYPE OF GAME: Scoring Game
Dominoes is an educational and easy-to-learn game for children and adults. The game of dominoes is a traditional leisure activity with slightly different rules for many countries but most known for the Mexican dominoes game style.
PLAYERS: Two to four people may play the game of Dominoes. If four people are playing the game, it may be played as a team game with the two players sitting opposite one another as teammates.
SHUFFLING: To begin the game, place all the pieces face down and shuffle. Players will draw one domino each, and the player who draws the highest double or if a non-double, the highest domino will play first. Re-shuffle the dominoes and begin drawing the first hand.
DRAWING HANDS: Each player will draw seven dominoes for their first hand. The remaining dominoes, if any, are left face down on the table to be drawn later if a player is unable to play from their hand.
GAME BEGINS: The player who drew the highest double or the highest domino plays first by playing any domino they wish from their hand.
GAME OBJECTIVE: Players score points by laying the dominoes end to end (the touching ends must match: i.e., ones touch ones, twos touch twos, etc.). If the dots on the touching ends total any multiple of 5, the player is given that number of points.
All sides of the first domino with double numbers may allow dominoes to be placed on either side. All other doubles are to be played at the right angles of the line and the total points on both ends are counted.
Dominoing occurs when one player finishes the game by playing all of their dominoes. The sum of the spots by opposing players is computed and added to the player’s score (rounded to the nearest five). If the game is played with partners, the spots of the partner who “dominoed” are not counted.
BLOCKING THE GAME: If during the game it is impossible for any of the players to play, the game is “blocked.” The player (or partners) who have the least spots in their own (or their combined) hand(s) scores the total of the spots in the opponents’ hands (rounded to the nearest five).
WINNING THE GAME: A score of 250 points is usually considered a game. The first person (or partners) to reach this amount wins the game.
PLAYING AGAIN: Shuffle and begin a new game. The player who won the previous game plays first.
GAME VOCABULARY Blocking When the game of Dominoes is no longer able to be
played by either player(s) Dominoing Occurs when one player finishes the game by playing
all their dominoes Double A double domino contains matching ends (6-6, 5-5, etc.) Shuffle To move or rearrange game pieces into a random order Spots When dominoes are placed on a table or board
There are many ways to play dominoes. Tag @LosBravos on Facebook and Twitter and let us know how you play in your home!

ENGLISH
Take me out with the crowd;
Buy me some peanuts and Cracker Jack,
I don’t care if I never get back.
Let me root, root, root for the home team,
If they don’t win, it’s a shame.
For it’s one, two, three strikes, you’re out,
At the old ball game.
SPANISH
Llévame a la multitud;
Apoyemos a nuestro equipo,
Porque es un, dos, tres y ponchado,
en el juego de beisbol.
“Take Me Out to the Ballgame” is regarded as the official anthem of North American baseball. Written in 1908, it is traditionally sung by attendees of baseball games during the seventh inning stretch.
Practice singing the lyrics in Spanish using the same tune and translation below.
