‘C olours of a Culture’ pre- sented by the Embassy of Pakistan drew to a close with an exotic fashion col- lection showcased by Pakistan’s leading international fashion designer Talat Hafeez at the Galadari Hotel. Renowned for her creative mix and match her special flair in colour fusion, embroidery of all forms includ- ing the use of wood embroidery, Talat Hafeez’s collection of many salwar kameez’ that evening more than endorsed the view that she had the rare creativity to enhance a plain and simple salwar kameez into a in-vogue fashion statement. Red was a predominant colour followed by orange flamboy- ant pink and sunshine yellow. Colour combinations were strik- ing and elegant especially the outfits in black and brown, black and orange, white and salmon pink.
