Our Stats Distance: 51miles Ride time: 4:32:31 Average: 11.5mph

Left Sunday, September 2nd. As many recovered from the excit-ment of two days’ Corbett and Munro bashing others needed to further relax and recover with a cycle around the block.

Here’s the route for the day and all the statistics of any importance.

Right Tea and scones were had at Bridge of Cally. We are past Blair-gowrie now (photograph courtesy of Jill)

Coming soon...

Just when you thought it was all over along comes 2013. They’ll be more juicy weekend temptations to mull over for the coming year.

S P E C I A L26

The London Crew: Gary & Olga - for getting the London to Inverness sleeper train and arriving at Pitlochry for 06:30am on Friday 31st August to start the weekend.

Michael - for showing that turning over the page on another decade should not be an excuse for not knocking off those big hills. Tick one less Munro and one less Corbett. Barbara - for doing all the ground work/research and guiding the splinter Glen Tilt team on Saturday. Friday night’s meal location was a peach of a choice, too.

Linda - for dragging herself up Ben Vrackie whilst not feeling in great fettle.

John and Jill - for getting to the top of their first Munro, only another 282 to go. And again to Jill for her first road-ride over 50miles.

...and last but not least...

Lucy - five consequetive days of wind and rain in the Scottish hills did not stop her making it six-in-a-row with a sixteen-miler to Carn a’Chlamain.
