Paranormal activity is a supernatural horror film. The film creates tension through the handheld camera and POV. The real footage and the suspicious figures and this was implied by Freud's aspect of Voyeurism.

The Exorcist (1973) was the first film to play upon the idea of a demon possession inside a human. We are going to use this idea in our trailer. As Paranormal activity and The Exorcist are similar films, as someone gets possessed.

This word is a very well know in horror, as it is seen as a horror paradigms. This is when the the trailer takes a turn from good to bad.
