This word tells the audience that the victim may survive or not, by using this word it challenges Barthes pleasure text theory.

Propps eight characters theory suggest that the innocent one always survives any situation. This will challenge our trailer because the victim always survives but when we distributed our questionnaire, the feedback was they didn’t want the victim to survive.

The Exorcist (1973) was the first film to play upon the idea of a demon possession inside a human. We are going to use this idea in our trailer. As Paranormal activity and The Exorcist are similar films, as someone gets possessed.

Paranormal activity is a supernatural horror film. The film creates tension through the handheld camera and POV. The real footage and the suspicious figures and this was implied by Freud's aspect of Voyeurism.

This word is a very well know in horror, as it is seen as a horror paradigms. This is when the the trailer takes a turn from good to bad.
