The CastChristina Capehart(Fastrada) - Christina is very pleased to be performing once again with Manatee Performing Arts Center! Audiences might remember her as Ursula in Little Mermaid, Witch in Into the Woods, Audrey in Little Shop, Carla in Nine, Grizabella in Cats, Anytime Annie in 42nd Street, Eileen in Nice Work, and Mrs. Wormwood in Matilda!

Sarah Cassidy(Catherine) - Sarah most recently starred in I Do! I Do! Other favorites include Jane in Tarzan, Cinderella in Into the Woods, Ulla in The Producers, and Mary Poppins. Thank you for being here to enjoy live theater! For Dan, for his unwavering love and support!

Eliza Engle (Player) – Eliza is thrilled to be in this magical show! Last seen in Love in Revue and WCBTT’s Caroline, or Change. Other favorites include Jo in Little Women, Maria in West Side Story, Annie in Annie Get Your Gun, and Bebe in A Chorus Line. Thank you to my amazingly supportive husband. Let the Magic begin!

Gabi Garcia (Circus Performer) – Gabi is ecstatic to be performing once again with MPAC. At 16 years old, she has been performing in a youth circus for around seven years and has been in love with performing the better part of her life. Gabi is so grateful to be performing in Pippin!

Victoria Greenlaw (Player) – Victoria is currently a Junior in the VPA theatre program at Booker High School. Her first on stage appearance at age six was at Manatee Players in 2010. Previous credits include Evita (Asolo Theatre). Victoria also appeared in film, “Fear of Rain,” with Katherine Heigl and Harry Connick, Jr.

Ben Hoermann(Player) – Ben is excited to return to Manatee Performing Arts Center. He is an upcoming junior at Montclair State University. His recent shows were Brooklyn’s Bridge (MSU), A Chorus Line (MSU), and West Side Story (MPAC). He would like to thank his family and friends for their continued support.

Raina Khatami(Player) - Raina just graduated from Booker High School’s VPA Theatre Program and is looking forward to training and performing during her gap year. Some of her favorite roles include Harlequin Girl in The Kingdom of Solitaire and Louisa Von Trapp in The Sound of Music.

Ellen Kleinschmidt (Berthe) – Welcome to the Circus! Manatee Players: Damn Yankees (Meg), Little Women (Marmee), Cabaret (Fräulein Schneider), and Mame (Mame). Favorite theater roles: Gypsy (Rose), Annie (Hannigan), Fiddler (Golde), and Pippin (Fastrada). Here’s to the ensemble, the triple threats, the stars of this show. It’s time to start living!

Cassie Lloyd(Player) - Cassie is very thrilled to be performing at Manatee Performing Arts Center along with this talented cast. She is a rising sophomore at Nazareth College. Her recent shows include Legally Blonde (Elle Woods) and Hunchback at MPAC. Cassie wants to thank her friends and family for their endless love and support.

The CastJackson Madison(Player) - Jackson is thrilled to be returning to the MPAC stage after being a part of the cast of Damn Yankees! Previous credits include Hello Dolly and Joseph at Players of Sarasota and Urinetown at MSA. Jackson is a member of MSA chamber choir and is president of its executive board!

Tay Marquise(Leading Player) - Tay is excited to finally be playing Leading Player, his dream role. Feel Free to check him out on TikTok for entertainment beyond the stage @taymarquise!

Melanie "Moth" Mirnaya (Circus Performer) – Moth is 16 years old, and has been performing in her middle school musicals for four years. She is part of a youth circus, and this is her first time performing in the players as a circus performer.

Petra Mirnaya (Circus Performer) – Petra is 14 years old and has performed in musicals in her middle school for two years. This is her first time performing for her circus at Manatee Performing Arts Center. She is a contortionist and Aerial performer for Circus Minius.

Kate Mobley-Tarpley (Manson Trio/Player) – Kate is a Level 3 in Booker High School’s VPA Theatre program, and incredibly grateful to be performing in her first show at MPAC. Recently seen as Natalie in All Shook Up, her other credits include Spider in James and the Giant Peach, and Lucy in 13: the Musical.

Ryan Modjeski(Player) – Ryan is an upcoming senior in the VPA department at Booker High School and is thrilled to be a part of Pippin. He has been seen in Evita at the Asolo Reperatory Theatre. Ryan wants to give a huge shout out to his mom, dad, and little brother for support.

Liam Mueller(Theo) - Liam is ecstatic to be making his return to the MPAC stage. Liam is a 7th grader at Rowlett Middle Academy whose favorite roles include Nigel in Matilda and Michael Banks in Mary Poppins. Special thanks to Rick, William, Kristin, Neal, Mom, Dad, and Liv!

Liv Mueller (Player) – Liv is a sophomore at BRHS. This is her 5th show at MPAC and she is excited to be back on stage after such a long intermission. A huge thank you to the cast and crew of Pippin. Welcome back to the theatre!

Erin Nelson(Manson Trio/Player) - Originally from Austin, Erin holds a BA in Theatre; Dance Concentration, and has performed, taught, and choreographed in Texas, Colorado, and Massachusetts. Favorite roles include Silly Girl, Annelle Dupuy, Catherine Simms and Stella Kowalski. Choreography credits include Little Shop of Horrors, Chicago, and Hairspray. Love to CMN, friends & family.

Anika Pisz(Player Understudy) - Anika Pisz is a Junior in the VPA program at Booker High School. Most recently she has been in the original musical Kingdom of Solitaire at Booker and with Spotlight Kids. Anika is thrilled to be performing again. Thank you MPAC for this opportunity.

The CastSophia Quickel(Circus Performer) - Sophia is a seventeen-year old circus performer with the team, Circus Minius. She is found on a Lyra, a Spanish Web, or twirling her lasso. Sophia is elated to be able to perform in this production of Pippin!

Darwin Rojas(Player) - Darwin is a level 4 VPA student at Booker High School. He was last seen in the original production of Kingdom of Solitaire directed and written by Scott Keys. Darwin studies theatre and voice inside and outside of school. He wants to thank everyone at Manatee Players for another wonderful experience.

Bryan Stark (Lewis/Player) – Getting into character for this role was easy. Bryan looked at himself in the mirror the entire time, even during rehearsals. “Honestly, I don’t remember any choreography or lines from rehearsal. So if I mess up, blame my reflection, not me. He was distracting me the entire time. I’m perfection.”

Kaleigh Valach (Player) – Kaleigh will be a senior at USF this fall, majoring in communication with hopes to move to Orlando to live her Disney dreams upon graduating. This is her tenth show here at Manatee Performing Arts Center and she would like to thank her family for coming to every single one of them. ♥

Christina Warren (Circus Performer) – Christina is the assistant director of a youth circus in Bradenton named Circus Minius. Circus Minius trains and performs out of South Florida Gymnastics. Her previous credits with MPAC are Barnum and Matilda. She is excited to be working with the amazing cast and crew of Pippin!

Noelle Warren(Circus Performer) – Noelle is a high school sophomore. She has been performing with Circus Minius for over six years. She loves to perform on the Trapeze and the Lyra. Noelle last performed with Manatee Performing Arts Center in Matilda and Barnum. She is excited to be a circus performer in Pippin.

Yeoshua "Yoshi" Wilson(Player) - Yoshi is very excited to be a part of his very first production with Manatee Players. He has been in various shows like The Little Mermaid, All Shook Up, Grease, 13, Children of Eden at other theatres like Rise Above Performing Arts Center and Booker!

Cory Woomert (Charlemagne) – Cory is excited to finally be back on stage at MPAC! He was last seen in 2020 as Ms. Trunchbull in Matilda. He made his directorial debut with MPAC’s production of Grey Gardens. He’s excited to share the stage with son Judah. Love to Darah and Asher for all the support!

Judah Woomert(Player) - Judah is thrilled to finally be back on the MPAC stage after two years. Some favorite shows include: Newsies, Mary Poppins, Hunchback, Into the Woods, and The Secret Garden. Many thanks to Rick, Kristin, Neal, Mom, Dad, Asher, Franki, and the company of Pippin!

The CastAlexander Zickafoose(Pippin) - Alex is excited to be back at Manatee Performing Arts Center! He is currently the choral director at Booker VPA and Music Director of Spotlight Theatre Productions. In the past, he has played Quasimodo in Hunchback, Crutchie in Newsies, and Peter/Boy in Peter and the Starcatcher. Enjoy the show!

Izzy(Theo's Dog) - Izzy is thrilled (terrified) to be on the MPAC stage once again! She has previously been seen in Mary Poppins (Willoughby), The Producers (Dog), 42nd Street (Princess Shi Shi), and The Mystery of Edwin Drood (Dog). She served as the spokesperson/set inspiration for Bark! Izzy sends love and dog kisses to her mama, Kristin, and her best buddies, Rick and Mary. RIP Louie!

Rick Kerby(Director/Choreographer) – Prior to his move to Bradenton, Rick was the Entertainment Director for the USO of Metropolitan New York and the organizer of the Miss USO Contest. His USO troupe was featured on the Today Show, Good Morning America, Fox News, Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade and on The Miss America Pageant. The same USO troupe performed as part of the USO Celebrity Tours in the Middle East, Europe, and the Baltic. Other directorial credits include numerous shows at Surflight Theatre in New Jersey, Theatre by the Sea in Rhode Island, The Arundel Playhouse in Maine, Wolford House Dinner Theatre in Virginia, New London Barn Playhouse in New Hampshire, Stage Door Canteen Theatre at the National World War II Museum in New Orleans, Westbank and Duplex Theaters in New York City, and on many cruise ships. He has served on the faculties of Wagner College on Staten Island and Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts in New York City. Rick is the immediate past President of the Florida Theatre Conference, Past President of the Florida Association of Community Theaters, and is the President of the board for the American Association of Community Theatres. Rick was honored as a recipient of the Fellows Award from AACT. Rick most recently directed MPAC’s productions of I Do! I Do!, Winter Wonderettes, Matilda, West Side Story, Barnum, Mary Poppins, Cabaret, Newsies, Hunchback of Notre Dame, A Little Night Music, The Producers, Boynton Beach Club, Assassins, 42nd Street, Chess, The Little Mermaid, Secret Garden, and Into the Woods.

William Coleman(Music Director) – William is the director of Choral Activities at Manatee School for the Arts. He most recently was Music Director for Ain’t Misbehavin’, Pirates of Penzance, and Cabaret here at MPAC, as well as productions of Baby, Nine, and Mame. Previously he was Music Director for The Boynton Beach Club, Little Shop, and Assassins. Although new to the Tampa Bay area, William Coleman has over 20 years of experience as a performer, educator and director. Career highlights include music direction for Die Fledermaus, Pippin, Cabaret, Into the Woods, Forever Plaid, and The Merry Widow. Coleman is sought after as a coach and collaborative artist. He collaborated with world renowned Soprano, Leona Mitchell for the Langston University Master Class and Concert Series. As collaborator and artistic director, his performances have touched many genres of music, but he maintains a great passion for musical theatre. Recently, he was called on to accompany renowned Flamenco Artist, Shannon Calderon at the St. Louis Tap Festival. Coleman received a Bachelor of Science degree in environmental science from Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana, and additional undergraduate work in piano performance from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville. He has a Master of Arts degree in piano performance from Middle Tennessee State University and post graduate study in Pedagogy and Performance from the University of Oklahoma. He currently resides in the Tampa Bay area with his husband and pooches.

Donna Buckalter(Scenic Artist/Consultant) – Donna has been working as a scenic designer on the Sun Coast since moving here from NY in Dec. 2003. She also designs for Venice Theatre, The Westcoast Black Theatre, and Sarasota Opera. She and husband Mark always work as a team. Mark contributes moral support, brilliant and creative ideas, his talent in scenic artistry and gift for problem solving. Donna’s first design at Manatee Players was Moon Over Buffalo in November 2004, and she has designed here every season since. Some of her favorites include Newsies, Bridges of Madison County, The Full Monty, Cats, Into the Woods, Shrek, Big River, Hank Williams: Lost Highway, Willy Wonka, Hairspray, Pump Boys and Dinettes, A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, Peter Pan, Matilda, and most recently You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown. “Thanks for Ralph, without whose talented contribution and tireless work this would no longer be possible. I love you, Juliana.”

Creative TeamPatrick Bedell(Lighting Designer) – Patrick has been doing theatrical lighting since 2003 and architectural and event lighting since 2015. He is currently working as a freelance Lighting Designer and Master Electrician in the Boston area. Patrick recently worked in New York City on Electric Zoo as well as fixture installation at NBC Studios Boston and Connecticut. Locally, Patrick most recently designed MPAC productions of Matilda, It’s A Wonderful Life, Buddy, Mary Poppins, Little Women, Oh Freedom, A Christmas Carol, Calendar Girls, and Becoming Dr. Ruth. He also designed Funny Girl and Singing in the Rain at Players Centre and programmed Ethel, Circus: Wandering City at Historic Asolo. Some of Patrick’s past works include Damn Yankees, 2.5 Minute Ride, Baby, Driving Miss Daisy, Annie, Anna in the Tropics, The Father, Peter and the Starcatcher, Wit, 13: The Musical, It’s A Wonderful Life, Children of a Lesser God, Sylvia, To Kill A Mockingbird, Bye Bye Birdie, Yank!, The Diary of Anne Frank, The Miracle Worker, Bark!, Agnes of God, Godspell, The Man of La Mancha, and Beehive. “Thank you friends, family, and Tara for all of the support.”

Timothy Beltly(Costume Designer) – Tim has worked in theater for 40 years in one capacity or another. He has been teaching drama workshops and classes since 1994 here in Florida and studied drama and directing at Rollins College and Yale University. This production marks his 84th costume design project! This is 5th one at Manatee. His other shows here include The Odd Couple, Big River, Sweeney Todd, and Forum. As a performer, Tim has performed at Dorset Theater Colony in Vermont, Bucks County and Pocono Playhouse in PA, Falmouth Playhouse Cape Cod, Surflight Theater on Long Beach Island NJ, Golden Apple in Sarasota, and Tokyo Disney Sea in Japan, as well as several European tours. Favorite roles include Jud in Oklahoma!, Wreck in On the Town, Rabbi in Fiddler on the Roof, and Father Christmas at EPCOT world showcase players. He has studied at HB (Hubert Bergoff) studios in NYC with Charles Nelson Reilly, Bill Hicky, and the Walnut Street Theater in Philadelphia. Directing credits include Surf Light Theater, Orlando Shakes one acts, Orlando Fringe, and Yale directing program. A plethora of costume design projects include Theater Winter Haven, Osceola Arts, Valencia College Opera, Orlando Light Opera, and Dorset Theater. Tim believes that there is a place for everyone in theater. Be it backstage, on stage, or the front of the theater, it is the passion of theater that drives us to seek its rewards.

Kristin Ribble(Production Stage Manager) – Kristin has been a part of the Manatee Players since she was 12 years old in a variety of capacities and has been the Production Manager for twelve years. Most recently, she co-directed and choreographed You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown. Kristin served as Stage Manager for Matilda, Mary Poppins, Cabaret, Newsies, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, A Little Night Music, and The Producers. She also worked as co-stage manager for You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown, West Side Story, and Barnum. Favorite Stage Management credits include: Assassins, 42nd Street, Chess, The Little Mermaid, Secret Garden, Into the Woods, Tarzan, Les Misérables, Miss Saigon, My One and Only, Shrek, Whorehouse, Anything Goes, Evita, The Boynton Beach Club, Little Shop, Peter Pan, Spamalot, and the award-winning productions of Sweeney Todd and Sunday in the Park with George. She also was co-stage manager for Winter Wonderettes, You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown, West Side Story, and Barnum. She has enjoyed being a part of the crew working sound for several productions. Kristin graduated with honors from the University of Florida with a degree in psychology and a minor in sociology. She worked for several years with at-risk youth in Manatee County. Kristin thanks all of the patrons for their unwavering support during these difficult times.
