Note the different heights of the roller guides and the routing of the cable through the capstan. Make sure you have correct cable routing and height grooves, when reinstalling the unit.

Loosen spring to remove cable tension

The whole PET trim unit must be removed to loosen cable retainer – screw access from bottom

Stock cork gasket used to make clutch plate with aviation adhesive

Note condition of brushes -- they may require replacement
