The PFM 3248 is a portable ID mount machine tool for beveling, facing,and/or counterboring 32 through 48 pipe. Powerful twin hydraulicdrive motors and helical gears provide for smooth power delivery andoptimal surface nish. A set of hydraulic cylinders with rapid and slowfeed control, advance and feed the cutting head into the pipe. Thelarge diameter mandrel shaft provides optimum stability during heavycutting operations.

The Model PFM 816 is a portable ID mount machine for bevelingand facing 8 through 16 pipe. The tool is congured with twinhydraulic motors powering a set of helical gears to drive themain spindle for smooth power.


Up to 2.48" (63mm) wall thickness. Optional short perch kit for use when limited clamping

OD Mounted Pipe Facing Machine

The Model PFM 614 is a portable OD mount machine for bevelingand facing 6 through 14 pipe. An optional kit is available thatallows beveling on 4" pipe. Production cycle times from prep toprep of under one minute can be achieved with this high RPMfacing machine.

The ILUC clamp series was developed to provide internal line up forwelding of small-bore piping systems. This modular system allows for

many different congurations to t awide variety of applications. Availableoptions include copper backing forroot pass integrity, purge dams for TIGwelding, and a pneumatic drive systemfor horizontal operations. For verticaluse, an emergency brake system isactuated on loss of pneumatic pressureor electrical current preventing the

clamp from dropping into the pipeline.

Dependable Power for TRI TOOL PFM Series

The HSS Series machines are OD mounted split frame lathesused for high speed severing of in-line pipe on offshore weldcut-outs. Based on the rugged 600 series Clamshell platform, theunit features OD tracking for out-of-round conditions, and has anoptional template tracer.

The Coating Removal System was developed to address challengesfaced during pipeline maintenance that required the efcientremoval of pipe coating material. Utilizing Tri Tools provenstandard pipe cutting technology, its Model 200 Series tool hasbeen adapted to meet this challenge. Up to 4 (101mm) thickcoating can be removed from the OD of the pipe with a trackingmodule so as not to cut into the parent material of the pipe. Withup to 12 of axial travel, remaining coating can have desired bevel.

This heavy-duty, dual-pump (60 GPM and 5 GPM), pressurecompensated, hydraulic supply unit is designed specically toprovide power for the Tri Tool PFM Series equipment. The 5 GPMpump (at 2000 psi) provides feed and clamping power and the60 GPM pump powers the cutting head drive. The HPU 7560/5is pendant controlled (up to 50 ft. away) and is skid mounted forportability on the work site.
