Major infrastructure works are already underway to support the new business space at Pioneer park and also to bring forward the adjacent 4 hectares for Space Park which is Leicester University’s development for a global hub for space research , learning and innovation. The first phase of Space park will deliver a c50000sf facility that will represent the core of the Space Park and is due for completion late 2020. Works are also underway to create better connectivity for pedestrians around the river corridor, Space Centre and Pumping station and generally enhance the public realm with high quality landscaping.
