What will He call you to give financially above your tithes and what will be your time commitment? We want to do what God has called us to do in partnership with our 115 missionary partners.

Women’s Bible Study: “Stepping up: a Journey Through the Psalms of ascent” starts March 17th. Three times a year, the ancient Israelites traveled to the temple in Jerusalem. Now it’s your turn! We invite you to join Beth Moore in aspiring to reach a new level of relationship and intimacy with God. Together we will explore Psalms 120-134, and gain a new appreciation for the life of faith as a journey to greater fellowship with and worship of God. The more we unveil our faces to God and bare our souls to Him, expressing what is on our hearts, the safer we’ll feel with Him and the closer we’ll draw to Him. God is our hiding place…our shelter through the storm. Let’s find Him in a way we’ve not yet known. No matter who you are or where you’ve been –this study is for you! church Wide Family dinner, March 24th at 6 pm. Join us for this pot-luck dinner. We will need the following: paper plates, cups, plastic ware, napkins, plastic round and rectangular tablecloths.

We as the Generational Ministry Staff have felt God leading us to make some adjustments to our Wednesday Night Ministry. We’re gonna fix dinner. This is not going to be the traditional “church wide dinner.” This is dinner with a purpose. It is meant to allow us as church leaders to go deeper in our relationships with your children. Our goal is not to replace your family, but to better “come alongside” your family and be an effective voice in the spiritual nurturing of your children. It is not meant for families to come hear and necessarily eat together, but for the family of God to get to know one another in the context of sharing a meal and doing devotions. Read Acts 2:42-47. :) We are also introducing an “Essential” each week. These are Essentials for a strong family. Our first Essential is to answer adults with “yes ma’am” or “no sir”. We want to build an atmosphere of respect. Parents are welcome, but not required unless you have a preschooler.As a reminder, our goal for Dinner and Devotions is to build relationships! We are not out to make money. We just want to make sure we cover costs. If you donate food items, that may cover your donation for the meal. If you are in a position to donate more than suggested, that is great, too. We are not monitoring who pays or not. Some are not in a position to contribute at this time. One of the reasons we began praying about offering meals was because some of our students were skipping family dinner to come to church, but did not have the money to buy pizza. How amazing that teens would choose Church & God over a meal, knowing they may not get to eat. Wow! Then as we were talking and praying through this idea, God kept confirming that we were moving in the right direction and that this would benefit EVERYONE. Filling bellies is one part (very important to those who weren’t eating), relationship is one part, and devotions are another part. Please contact us if you have any questions at all!
