    Pilot Pioneer is a flexible multi-technology laptop-based diagnostic tool for indoor and outdoor radio network quality

    and services performance measurements. Various services tests can be conducted with the wide range of

    supported commercial and up-to-date test terminals. Based on Windows operating system, Pilot Pioneer is a user-

    friendly solution that can be used throughout network development lifecycle, therefore allowing system vendor and

    network operator to benefit on their investment. Pilot Pioneer displays geo-location map-based data in real time and simultaneously records it for further analysis.

    The collected data reflects subscriber perceptions and experience, enabling network operators to fine tune their

    network to maximize subscriber satisfaction.

    Multi-Technology and Multi-Terminal

    Supports multiple network technologies: GSM, CDMA, EVDO, WCDMA, HSPA, TD-SCDMA, and FDD/TDD-LTE Supports multiple chipsets test terminals:HiSilicon, Qualcomm, Innofidei, Leadcore, T3G, etc. Supports both Android and iOS operating systems

    VoLTE Service Test

    Mobile HD voice is the future trend of mobile voice (from

    TDM (Time Division Multiplexing) to IP or traditional

    switch to soft switch). Based on the IMS (IP Multimedia Subsystem) network, VoLTE (Voice over LTE) delivers

    the required voice service over LTE data bearer. Pilot

    Pioneer provides VoLTE service test solution to capture

    various control plane and user plane data through active

    network measurement, evaluate VoLTE network

    performance and QoS (quality of service), and provide

    network performance and QoE measurement.VoLTE

    audio quality measurement with POLQA (MOS)

    algorithm is supported.

    PBM

    PBM (Pulse-sampling Bandwidth Measurement) is a

    new radio network bandwidth measurement solution,

    with efficient algorithm that occupies little network

    resource usage. It may be an alternative network

    performance measurement method to FTP in 4G

    network technology.

    Presentation of Frame Decoding Details

    Decoding details of each frame in PHY, MAC, and PDCP

    layers can be displayed for LTE network technology.

    Carrier Aggregation (CA) Test

    LTE Advanced Carrier aggregation is used to utilize

    more than one carrier, which may be in contiguous

    elements of the spectrum or in different bands, to

    increase the overall transmission bandwidth, provide

    high data rates, reduce delay, and improve spectrum

    usage efficiency. Pilot Pioneer supports Carrier Aggregation test with

    Qualcomm and HiSilicon terminals, and statistics of key

    parameters (such as MCS, RB, TM, QCI, etc.) for

    component carriers or aggregated carriers.

    Comprehensive Filter Function

    Pilot Pioneer supports comprehensive filter function that

    may help users to quickly obtain required information from

    large volume of data and thus improves data analysis

    efficiency. Users may filter data by parameter, time, region,

    state, and combined conditions as required. The filtered

    data can be replayed and used for statistics generation

    and analysis.

    Force Function

    Force functions such as lock on frequency, band, and

    cell are supported for are supported with dedicated

    Qualcomm chipset based devices that has been verified

    by DingLi, which allow users to perform tests on specific

    frequencies, bands, or cells.

    Various Scanner Tests

    Pilot Pioneer supports R&S, Anite (supported but not

    offered), and PCTEL scanners. Scanning functions

    including Pilot (downlink), CW (uplink & downlink),

    Spectrum (uplink & downlink), Blind (PCTEL only), and

    EPS (PCTEL only) scan are available. SIB/L3 decoding

    is also supported.

    Flexible Analysis Functions

    Various analysis functions are supported, including

    Coverage Rate Analysis, Overlapping Coverage

    Analysis, Mod3 Analysis, Pilot Pollution Analysis, Cell

    Coverage Analysis, and Cell Statistics and Analysis. All

    these analysis functions help users to quickly identify

    potential network problems and affected areas, while

    improving operational efficiency and cost.
