Strategy:

The DailyInsider newsletter is delivered on each trading day prior to market opening and is a systematic

breakdown based on the last day’s insider transactions published by the SEC. The strategy uses many parameters

such as the company size, insider position in the company, similar transactions, and historical performance to

determine the best four picks daily. We use our conditional parameter testing to build a signal for each possible

transaction, with the top four long picks qualifying for the DailyInsider newsletter. Trade RR stands for

”risk/reward” and is the average intra-day change (open/close) of the last 30 trading days for each stock.

Measurement:

The strategy is measured with all four picks being purchased evenly at market opening based on the open price,

and closed right before market closing at the average price. Ideally the model captures the short term return from

the momentum generated through investors copying the insider by consistently preemptively buying the stock,

and selling at the end of day before a correction takes place. In the event that no four reliable picks are found the

newsletter will only release 1-3, and in rare cases even none. The 25% allocation is always maintained, regardless

of the number of picks. Thus for example if our equity is $10,000 and only one pick is provided, we will allocate

25% of the portfolio ($2,500) to the investment.
