Physics & Physical Sciences
Majoring in Physics or Physical Sciences at CSU Stanislaus prepares students for a greater diversity of professions requiring an understanding of the fundamentals of the physical sciences including courses in the following areas: astronomy, chemistry, environmental sciences, geology, marine sciences, meteorology and physics.
What can you do with a Physics or Physical Sciences degree? Possible career paths/fields of work include astronomy, acoustics, optics and communications, mathematics, computer programming, engineering, nuclear technology, medicine, education, armed forces, oceanography, geology, power and energy, and space exploration.
