Example: Civic BuildingSenstar’s covert buried sensor, OmniTrax®, provides the highest level of protection while maintaining accessibility and site aesthetics. Ideal ideal for protecting public institutions and residences, OmniTrax detects and locates people and vehicles approaching the site. The precise location is displayed within the Senstar Symphony™ VMS and can be used to automatically call-up linked cameras. Exterior and interior doors are managed by Senstar Symphony™ AC, an integrated electronic access control module for the Senstar Symphony™ VMS. On-site personnel can use the Senstar Thin Client as an inexpensive no-hassle display appliance while security staff can monitor the status of multiple buildings from a centralized location.

Example: Monitoring Health and Safety ProtocolsSenstar Safe Spaces™ is a drop-in video analytic solution that assists municipalities in meeting COVID-19 health and safety protocols. Senstar Safe Spaces enables organizations to monitor public areas for face mask wearing and physical distancing. It can also monitor the usage of hand sanitization stations and building occupancy limits. Senstar Safe Spaces works with existing video surveillance systems and respects privacy regulations.

The Senstar Edge Platform’s compact, fanless design enables it to be installed virtually anywhere, including directly on the back of monitor or in a utility closet or IT room.

DROP-IN, FITS ANYWHERE SOLUTION

With the Senstar Edge Platform, organizations can use existing network cameras to monitor their premises and receive alerts when health requirements are not followed.

The device works with any camera or video encoder that supports ONVIF. Alerts may be sent to any video management software that supports ONVIF alerts.

The device may also be deployed in a stand-alone configuration. Alerts can be directed to mobile devices for convient notification. Local announcements can also be made via pre-recorded messages over IP speakers.

The analytics are configured via an intuitive built-in web interface. Visually set the camera height and angle, then draw the size of the detection object for example, average face size). The system does the rest.

DETECT FACE MASKSThe Face Mask Detection analytic determines if an individual is wearing a mask or not. The analytic will reliably detect standard medical and N95-style masks, and can be trained to detect a wide variety of non-standard mask styles. To protect privacy, faces can be dynamically obscured.

MONITOR HAND SANITIZATIONThe Hand Sanitization analytic monitors the behaviour of people within a defined area and determines if they take the required time to properly sanitize their hands.

MEASURE PHYSICAL DISTANCINGThe Physical Distancing analytic measures the physical distance over time between each person in a scene. Capable of monitoring large areas, both indoors and outdoors, the analytic can determine if physical distancing requirements are being met for small crowds of people (for example, 2 m or 6 ft).

COUNT IN/OUT TRAFFICThe Occupancy Counting analytic monitors the movement of people as they enter and leave an area. If the number of people exceeds the number allowed, an alarm is generated. Total occupancy can be obtained by aggregating counts from multiple cameras.
