    Photos from RQ-11 Raven Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) training

    Lt. Joshua McAuliffe of Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 2nd

    Battalion, 127th

    Infantry Regiment, 32nd

    Brigade Combat Team, Wisconsin Army National Guard,

    launches a RQ-11 Raven Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) during pre-mobilization training. Weighing

    approximately four pounds and reaching speeds up to 60 miles per hour, the Raven is an invaluable asset

    to Soldiers and can be used to track insurgents, provide reconnaissance, and assist in watching the

    perimeters of various military camps. The 32nd

    BCT is currently being trained by the 1st

    Battalion, 360th

    Infantry Regiment Warhawgs in Close Quarters Combat, Urban Operations, and Short and AdvancedRange Marksmanship. The Warhawg Battalion also provides Observer Controller/ Trainer oversight on

    specific Raven flight missions during pre-mobilization training at Camp McGregor, New Mexico. The
