DOCTOR of Ministry
Flexibility to stay connected in ministry and seminary.
Professors engaged in current ministry bring life experience to the classroom.
Professionally interact with higly experienced fellow ministry practicioners.
Phoenix Seminary’s Doctor of Ministry degree
is a learning environment in which your
hard-earned ministry experience is leveraged
to attain mentor-level wisdom and expertise.
Alongside other experienced practitioners, you
will seek answers to foundational questions
like: How have I thought about and practiced
ministry before? Is my reflection and practice
sufficient in my contemporary context? How
can I discern a new way forward that is
biblically and theologically precise, and also
methodologically responsible?
Our Doctor of Ministry program allows you
to remain in the location where you are
ministering. One-week intensive courses
form the core of the course curriculum,
making travel requirements minimal.
Through a consortial arrangement with
Western Seminary (Portland, OR), you will be
able to take classes from Phoenix Seminary or
Western Seminary toward your DMin in
order take advantage of specialized courses.
