Los Angeles, 22 November 2013 – The Philippine Consulate General in cooperation with the Philippine Heritage Institute International (PHII) and the Philippine Institute of Language, Arts & Culture (PILAC) and Panorama Knights, Inc. commemorated the 150th Birth Anniversary of Andres Bonifacio at the Rizal Hall of the Consulate General on 20 November 2013. Consul General Maria Hellen Barber De Le Vega thanked the partner organizations and welcomed the Philippine National Police (PNP) delegation members who are in Los Angeles for a training program. Deputy Consul General Daniel R. Espiritu gave the audience an audio-visual presentation on the life and heroism of Andres Bonifacio. Highlights of the event were the parade of colors by Panorama Knights, Inc., the singing of the Philippine National Anthem by Ms. Louise Marie Cornillez, and the Re-enactment on the life Andres Bonifacio. The cast is composed of the following members of the Filipino community: Mr. Mon Concepcion, Mr. Marco Mendoza, Ms. Mylah De Leon, Ms. Josie Estaris De Jesus Ms. Bernie Ganon, Ms. Lily Tabafunda, Mr. Rey Ganon, Mr. Romy Borje, Ms. Ma. Nimfa Morada, Mr. Bennie Quiambao, Ms. Mely fabellar, Mr. Godi, Fabellar, Mr. Cris Rodriguez, Ms. Francisca Palma, Mr. Rudy Peran, Ms. Cleotilde Disnar, Mr. Teddy Ortega, Mr. Vladir Rivera, Mr. Henry Osio, Mr. Raul Baldemoro, and Mr. Isidric Panganiban providing light effects. The closing remarks was delivered by Ms. Naomi Palma Armada, founder of PHII. Ms. Maria Amor of PILAC acted as emcee of the event.
