The Business School for the World

• Truly global: no dominant nationality. The PhD class that entered in 2007 has 11 participants from 11 countries: China (2), France, Germany (2), Japan, Lithuania, Russia, Turkey, Ukraine, USA. In total, 54 students from 25 nationalities are currently enrolled.

NEW: PhD Program Expands to Singapore

• Choice of Singapore or Fontainebleau campus, support for some study period on the respective other campus and with the possibility to swap campus.

• Full financial support available for all accepted students.

• Starting September 2008, INSEAD will run one section of its PhD Program in Singapore (the deadline for application is January 2 each year).

Admissions

• Very selective – only about 5% of applicants are chosen, based on intellectual capability, curiosity and energy.

• Applicants must hold a University-level degree and have a working knowledge of English.

• GMAT & TOEFL requirements.

• There is no particular requirement concerning fields of study at the undergraduate level.

Six possible fields of specialization, with the usual sequence of course work, qualifying exam, and dissertation research.
