Ph.D. in Engineering and Technology Admission Process 2015-16
Department of Technology
1. Students are provisionally qualified for the interview based on the information
furnished in application form and result of entrance test.
2. Final eligibility for the interview will be confirmed after scrutiny of documents
related to claims mentioned in application form.
3. Any student, if found not eligible during the scrutiny of documents, his/her
interview will not be conducted.
4. Interviews will be conducted on the parameters- Subject Knowledge, Research
Aptitude, Past Research Experience (Paper presentation, Participation, Personal
Profile in Seminar / Conferences etc.) in Department on 28/10/2015 to
31/10/2015 for various branches of Engg.(Detail Time Table is attached below)
5. Students are requested to bring the following documents at the time of
interview.
i) Printout of Application Form
ii) Original Documents along with a set of attested copies related to educational
qualification, failing which interviews of such students will not be conducted. i.e.
Mark-list from 10th to B.E. and M.E./M.Tech. Mark-list showing aggregate
percentage or grade, Certificate of GATE qualification, Cast Certificate & Non-
creamy layer certificate (Wherever required/applicable), NOC by the employer
(On the letter head), Hall ticket / Identify proof.
6. Completely filled in forms (five copies) of Student Profile and Research
Interests, which is available on University website.
