Study researches and work experiences Oct 2014 – now Research Engineer at LIG laboratory working in the context of the Camomile project.

2013-2014 Post-doctoral at Eurecom Sophia Antipolis in the context of the MediaMixer project.

2013 Proposal of efficient training and prediction algorithms of the lib-SVM with the RBF kernel for large-scale datasets. The proposed algorithms are almost 42-76 times faster, depends on the descriptor, than the original lib-SVM on TRECVid 2012 collections.

2012 – 2013 Working as research engineer in the context of the VideoSense project at LIG Laboratory.

2012 Research project on active cleaning of video corpus annotations, in which we have proposed and evaluated a new cleaning strategy for the collaborative video annotations, which is considered as a method to be used for the crowd-sourcing field.

2011 Proposal of robust methods, which improves the performance of video indexing systems, including vector normalization, dimensionality reduction and re-ranking methods.

2010 Developing a real world application for video document annotation. This is a web-application that was used to lead the official annotation of TRECVid collections since 2010.

2010 Research project on active learning with multi-learner for large-scale multimedia indexing.

2010 Research project on multi-learner approach for multimedia indexing: this showed its usefulness as a solution for the class-imbalance problem.

2008 Hand Categorization and hand Gesture Analysis Recognition: categorization of left and right hands using the diffusion maps techniques and recognition of four actions as gestures. This thesis was done at the GREYC laboratory, Caen.
