A foliar pre-harvest treatment that increases fruit firmnessand gives longer storage potential of top fruit.

The harpin alpha-beta protein when sprayed 28 and 14days before harvest will change the quality of fruit whilst itis on the tree.

Increased nutrient loading and reduced respiration ofstored fruit gives the benefit of sweeter, better tasting fruitafter cold-storage.
