• If you’re unable to attend a PILLS-planned group event, complete the requirement on your own time and submit application (found on PILLS website)
• Hospital/ Pharmacy volunteering does NOT qualify

• If you’re unsure if your hours qualify for the requirement, check with me beforehand

Duties: ◦ Prepare drugs for the packaging
robot◦ Assist pharmacy technicians◦ Check expiration dates◦ Deliver medication from med rooms
to patient rooms. Requirements:
◦ 50 volunteer hours at their gift shop before moving into pharmacy dept.
◦ Complete 200 hours in one year (~3 hours/shift)

License renewal every 2 years Word of Advice: This exam is not difficult. Most
people with a couple of weeks of studying will pass.

Fee: $80 per application and additional fees Additional items needed to apply:
◦ Notarized copy of the pharmacy certificate received after passing the PTCE ($10-15)
◦ Livescan fingerprints. [Locations for fingerprinting link] (Prices Vary. ~$80)
◦ Passport picture (~$8 at Walgreens.) Total licensing fees ~$130 to get licensed.
Certification and licensing total ~$315. Takes ~3-4 months after applying to receive license
from the board.

publicizing their clubs and current projects.
